Went to Julian with the family, and decided to go to Apple Alley Bakery because they offer gluten free options, which my nephew needed. All the pies, gluten and gluten free were delicious. My favorite was the Carmel Pecan, with vanilla ice cream. Also the staff were very friendly , and the coffee was great on a cold day.

It is a treat to DIE for, me and my family go two times every year.Our favorite is the apple crumb pie along with the cinnamon ice cream.And their are apple trees that have decent sized apples 🍎

Best pie in Julian and, hello, that's saying a lot. Get with a scoop of their cinnamon ice cream! And the gluten-free option is amazing, too.
