We got a free tasting with our stay at the Gaige house. Very good wines. We bought a bunch to take home. Because it was a slow day we were able to sit outside and enjoy our wines. Then we noticed the pizzas being served and now we have to go back for those.

Very hard finding places to eat around the vineyards outside of the town of Napa and Sonoma but VJB was a great little find. Small courtyard with outdoor tables. Lovely deli serving the most amazing paninis, pizza and the ribs we had were amazing. Lovely host very friendly. Have the Barbera red!

Excellent wines! Love the Primitivo and Prosecco. The pizzas are very tasty and recommend the Sicilian burger. The staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. Teresa at the deli is great! Mike R and Florencia made our last private tasting special. And there’s the great Vittorio, friendly and always smiling. Great place to taste wine, eat and have a lovely day!

The venue and service is nice. The staff was friendly. The tasting pours for our group went a bit slower than we'd like and they do not comp any tastings for buying wine. At least that's what someone in our group was told. I can tell the wine is well made but I do not enjoy Italian varietals.

Went for a wine tasting for our son's 21st B-day and found out that the wine tour company never reserved our party. There was 7 of us. Kyle (VJB greeter?) ensured us that he would take care of us and get us a table to celebrate our son's special day. We got our table and then Bo took care of us for our tasting. Both made our son's birthday amazing. Because of them, we will go back. I highly recommend VJB winery for all of your special days.

Absolute delightful experience! Olivia was fantastic & informative during our tasting. Best Prosecco I've ever had! Other delicious wines too. Shop & eat the Italian market & chocolates. DO NOT skip the ribs with a glass of red & the tomato/avocado flat bread with a glass of Prosecco! Thank you, Olivia & the rest of the staff for an amazing time!

This place truly has it ALL! The wine, food, atmosphere and service all get an A+ from me. If you want to visit a place in California that feels like you are in Europe, this is it. It's not just the appearance of VJB that makes it feel like you are on vacation, it's the food and drink, but more importantly it's the family feel that the VJB staff provide. Everyone really seemed to like working there and you could feel it in the way they interacted with each other and spoke to guests. The stories behind their wine and food is amazing and if you have the chance to get the scoop on VJB's history, you should. This is a true family feel place and is welcoming for all. My mom and I had one of the best days ever here and it will now always hold such a special place in both of our hearts. Thank you Mike, Bo and the rest of the VJB team for creating a welcoming, adventurous and fun environment. I had never been to Kenwood, but now will be coming up more often to stop by my new favorite winery!

This is not a review on VJB wine or winery, I would encourage everyone to visit and try the wine! This is a review of Mike Rosenbaum, who is in charge of the wine membership program. The program sends shipments of wine periodically and is pitched as no obligation - meaning you can skip orders whenever you would like and cancel whenever. They do "Ask" that their members stay for a year, which is an "Ask" and not a requirement and not something the customer signs a contract for. Be warned that the wine shipments ship with no notice, so you card will be charged without your knowledge. Mike refused to let us cancel the club in February and did not let us quit in September either, which resulted in us paying for 2 shipments that we did not want. I had to block the vendor on my credit card because he could not provide an official cancellation confirmation citing "he doesn't understand what I am asking for". He is a shady businessman who doesn't value his customers so please avoid the wine club and enjoy the wine at the vineyard instead.

Recently bought several cases per extensive dialogue with the vineyard. The issue was with the requested year vs what arrived in NY a few weeks later. A slight of hand, or an honest mistake— I’d like to think the latter! But it took me 8 emails to effectuate a credit and to receive the actual ‘ordered’ year!
