“Had to drive from Truckee to Stateline and back today and I forgot my lunch. Ended up walking into this place needing some food and it was full of women and they have a veggie burger on the menu for under $10. LOVE. 🥰🥰🥰“

“We ordered (1) eggs (over medium) and bacon, potatoes, sourdough toast and (2) build your own omelette with mushrooms, pepper jack, spinach and onions,, fresh fruit (which was excellent) sourdough toast. Service was excellent and fast. The food was good although the over medium eggs could have been cooked a bit more. We'll definitely come back.“

“Creamy Mac n Cheese, crispy sesame-ginger wings, and that basket of sweet potato fries were all on point — comforting, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a cold Tahoe Pilz.
Morgan gave us excellent service, upbeat and genuine, which really elevated the whole experience. The kind of service that makes you want to come back — whether for a meal or just a drink.
The sauce lineup was a show of its own — blue cheese, ranch, Dijon mustard, ketchup, and Sriracha ranch. Each one brought something different to the table. The Sriracha ranch added a spicy kick, Dijon gave that sharp tang, and the blue cheese and ranch balanced everything with creamy coolness. Even the ketchup hit just right with the sweet potato fries. Every dip had a purpose — making the wings and fries not just tasty, but downright addictive.

“Sombody described this as a “hidden gem.” Not our experience at all. We attempted having lunch here at around 13:30 on August 3, 2025 and the entire area was mobbed. In fact we couldn’t even get to the restaurant because the road that leads to it was barricaded with a sign reading something like, road access reservation required April-September. So just check with someone that you can actually get there before heading to out to Kokanee Bar.“

“We love the shrimp or fish tacos and yummy shoestring fries! Well drinks are a nice size with a nice sample of beer on tap.“
