We eat here often when we ski at Kirkwood. This last time was disappointing. We each had what they said was a chicken chimichurri sandwich for $26 each. The food is very expensive. There wasn't any chimichurri. It was a regular chicken sandwich with a lot of arugula and some mayo on it. Nothing special. We would have selected something else, but the wait was really long for anything else.

Don’t forget to bring your own food, the food here is vile and an outstanding rip-off. They will try to give you the smallest chicken strips when there are huge one at the top of the pile. Forget them, not worth it even if you’re starving.

Took 3 tries of asking them to make the veggie breakfast burrito without meat… it’s meat-free on the menu.. first round they made it with bacon, then carnitas, then finally without meat.

Extremely rude customer service from one individual in particular. It is currently overflowing with people and we were just trying to navigate the place, to get something to eat. Paused for a few seconds and Sam (Pioneer, CA) bumps into us and was so rude and while making sour faces told us we are creating a fire hazard and that place was already full! We (like many others) were trying to figure the place out with our tired kids. So upsetting and sad that our kids had to experience it.

Best varierty of options in a cafeteria style. If you need healthy/vegeterian options, this is likely the safest bet.Gets pretty crowded at lunch and might be tough or impossibly to get a seat.

Their grilled cheese is terrible. It's like fake cheese and bread dipped in oil. They didn't have their chicken tenders. The beef + pesto sandwich was decent, but the bread was also very oily. Also, the food across the road at The Wall isn't even that much more expensive

Not good and they might as well serve the patties they've made while there's a line instead of just dumping them in a bucket
Good quality food overall for a ski resort small cafeteria style place, but very limited food options, and not many seating options inside. Plenty of drink/coffee options. Menu is really: hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, or beef/veggie chili. There IS a discount for Epic Pass Seasonholders though
The beef chili was great. I would recommend it.

Employees rarely speak conversational English, food is super expensive and pretty meh all around, especially when compared to non Vale offerings.
Terrible!
Fast food cafeteria serving the main village base area. Good burgers, great breakfast burritos, but a little pricey thanks to the local monopoly Veil has on the place.
Terrible!
The flow of moving people though this place is horrible. I would almost argue the amount of people they try to pack in there is not up to fire codes. Could use a decent remodel.
