This is a neighborhood favorite for a reason. A very welcoming, family friendly, all around great restaurant. I ordered the Camarones Diablo and wow - that's hot! Great flavor, tender shrimp and all in all really great dish. The cranberry spice margarita cooled it all down nicely. The service is top notch and includes a never ending chips and salsa.
So here it's goes... I wanna use the race card but I'm not the type of person to use it. My friends and myself felt discriminated in this establishment. We came around 8pm last Friday night for some drinks and food. My friend had gone in and asked how long and they said 20 minute wait. 20 minutes isn't that long so we came in and waited. This was the worst Mexican Food I've had in my life. The chips which I'm sure were out of a bag, the salsa was flavorless and the food had no taste at all. After dousing mine with bottled hot sauce it still had no flavor. Mexican food is my all time favorite food but Los Gringos Locos will go down as the worst overpriced food I've ever had. Oh, and $13 for a Margarita was a bit high.
