Overall always a restaurant worth splurging on... 4.5 stars The stone fruit salad was delicious- I requested light dressing and it was perfect for me. I had a Caesar salad here last week that was drowning in dressing. One of my pet peeves for a restaurant of this quality. The ribeye was slightly overcooked (asked for between med and med-rare- it cam out med to med-well) but within tolerance and still juicy enough. Biscuit was a nice surprise- very tasty. It was a bit crumbly....

AR Valentien is always a memorable experience. We took friends for a birthday breakfast. At our request, the restaurant printed menus for our friends with no prices. Every detail in the restaurant is attractive and soothing. As older people with hearing issues, sitting indoors with no other guests around made communication effortless. We each tried something different and everyone enjoyed their meal: Mushroom omelette, potato and leek tart, corn and zucchini cake with poached...

It's always such a special treat to dine at AR Valentien. The food is superb and the service top notch. The mussels were the best I've ever had anywhere. Outdoor dining is the way to go on a beautiful August day.
