Chin's Szechwan offers delicious food and friendly service with polite and welcoming staff. The dishes are well crafted and served quickly. This hidden gem in the heart of La Jolla has a substantial menu where you can pick your heat level. The small dining room has 5 or 6 booths inside and 3 small tables outside facing the street, located uptown from the Cove near the Bishop School. The food portion is very generous. Popular meals include the outstanding Szechuan Chicken, spicy honey and chili chicken, chicken fried rice, chicken pot potstickers, and crab Rangoon appetizers. The potstickers are perfectly pan fried and the garlic sauce is top notch. The restaurant also does booming takeout, and ordering on the website is easy. The staff is very friendly and polite from the moment you arrive.
