Coffee Cup

Everything in my original review of 2010 is still valid, however, Coffee Cup has not been open for business since April 2023 or so. Apparently, they are doing a refresh (see attached photo from their Instagram page). That was three months ago! If you walk by, there is no evidence of any work going on which makes one wonder. Cute little place in La Jolla with amazing food and coffee. Their Soy Chorizo Scramble is simply DELICIOUS! You will find yourself coming back here once you've tasted how tasty the food is ?

While visiting the San Diego area, we chose to head to La Jolla for the morning and wanted to chose a place for breakfast. We randomly chose the Coffee Cup after checking Google Maps. When we arrived, on a Sunday morning, we did have to wait for....less than five minutes, for a seat. We ordered a Mexican mocha, blackberry pancakes and the Soy Chorizo scramble.
