Destiny Coast is an outstanding restaurant with delicious, creative food, great service, and unbeatable views. It is a beautiful spot and a five-star experience across the board. The staff truly goes above and beyond, making guests feel welcome and well taken care of from start to finish.
The food is superb. For brunch, the Green Goddess Superfoods Protein Bowl is a must. At sunset dinner, the short ribs, the artichoke beignets, and the Local Bluefin Tuna Crudo are excellent. The salmon dish is cooked to perfection. Portions are massive. While the breakfast burrito was lacking flavor, the short rib in it was good.
Parking can be difficult with a small lot; valet is available, especially in the evening. The outdoor dining area is well-covered with heat lamps. It is also pet friendly and close to La Jolla Playhouse, making it a great before or after theatre spot.
