Great fish burritos

We stopped by really late when almost everything else was closed. According to the website, the restaurant was still open, but when we arrived, only the drive-through was available. We tried to go inside, but the interior looked filthy — napkins were scattered all over the floor, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned.
At the drive-through, I asked the man taking my order what kind of fish was in the burrito, as I have dietary restrictions and need to avoid certain types of fish. He said he didn’t know. I asked him again — is it cod? swai? — and explained it was important for health reasons, and asked him to check with someone else working. He refused and instead started laughing at me. I was trying to be respectful and clear, and was met with total disregard.
This is more than bad service — it’s a serious safety issue. People with food allergies or sensitivities depend on clear answers from restaurant staff, and I was shocked by the lack of concern.
To make matters worse, I specifically asked for the fish to be grilled, and it came fried — something I cannot eat due to an intolerance. What I could eat was also gross and low quality. The chips tasted like something from the bargain aisle at a grocery store.
Even if it’s late and options are limited, I strongly recommend you don’t go here. The food is bad, the service is disrespectful, and there’s a complete lack of care for customer health and safety. You’re better off going home and making something yourself.

We pulled up to the drive through and sat there long enough to wonder if it was even open. Then we noticed a worker sitting outside playing on his phone. We asked him if they were open and he said yes. He jumped up to go inside. About a minute later someone else was asking us what we wanted. We ordered our food, paid for it and we were on our way. The food was super bland. We got rolled tacos. It had a weird texture to it. I already wasn't feeling well so I didn't try anything else. My boyfriend ordered a carnitas burrito that made him sick. So needless to say we are never going back. This was the second bad experience at this location and the first time I didn't want to leave a review because we figured, bland food isn't the end of the world. But guys, this is San Diego. We need higher standards. There's Don Bravo down the street who's been serving up great food for decades!

I'm sorry but didn't like the tacos. The shell was hard, and the burritos egg and potatoes were a B +

Let me preface this by saying we only chose this place due to the supposed existence of a drive thru. We pull up to the menu, decide what we want, wait a few minutes for a “hello” Or “one moment please”…crickets. After like 5 minutes we ask “hello?” (No response) No signage saying the drive thru was closed or anything, so we decide we have no choice but to go inside. I immediately begin questioning my choice to do so. 3/5 tables were unusable due to being absolutely filthy and covered in someone’s trash. Trash on the floor and unclean surfaces are EVERYWHERE. I look into my cashiers glazed over eyes with low expectations but somehow higher than the product I receive. I ask for a bacon egg and cheese burrito and this is confirmed when he hands off my “bacon breakfast burrito”. To my dismay there is no bacon more cheese to be found in my burrito and my desired ingredients seem to have been replaced with a sea of refried beans. So much so that it was difficult to even try to attempt to eat if the flavor and textural nightmare of my beans with the slightest hint of cheese burrito that I didn’t order. I will never come here again and I wish I could give 0 stars.

Casual local place, classic and exceptional San Diego Mexican style fast food. The order of 12 rolled tacos is awesome, crispy hot, good guacamole.

I had 3 tacos and they were all very good. Not sure why 2 were hard shelled & the 3rd was soft shelled. Beef & chicken were hard & carnitas was made with the soft tortillas. All good, but next time I'll ask for soft tortillas..The person working the counter was super nice.

Got their carne asada burrito. $15 for meat that was like dried up leather... Worst meat quality I've ever had in a burrito. Never going back to any Rigobertos. There is way better quality and prices out there for a carne asada burrito.

Yummy authentic Mexican food at great prices!
This is a great place to get some authentic Mexican food at very affordable prices. The servings are huge! The prices are great. We had a lot of leftovers. We came here for lunch and were never hungry for dinner.
I would definitely come back.
