La Torta Del Barrio

“We stopped by a famer's market on a random Sunday afternoon in La Jolla and stumbled upon this food vendor making incredible looking food that made our mouths water, so naturally, we had to give them a try! They have an all-vegetarian menu which is what initially drew my Husband and I over to their tent, and when we saw the grill master cooking up some good eats, we knew we made a good choice! We ordered the chilaquiles to share, they come topped with soyrizo (plant based chorizo) and the red ranchero sauce and were the perfect amount for sharing. They were one of the most delicious chilaquiles we had ever tried, I definitely recommend giving this business a try!“

Street Food Market - Lane Field Park Food Court •
1009 N Harbor Dr, San Diego

“I always look forward to coming to this market place on the weekends anytime we're in San Diego. There are a ton of different food options, available, for meals and desserts. They also have local artist and vendors who make bags, robes, hats, jewelry, etc. The vibe is super chill, and everyone seems like they're here to just enjoy the sunshine, it's proximity to the water, and just hang out.I'm personally very committed to the bao buns from House of Bao and the dole whip. My kids love the shave ice from the Filipino truck (Lola's). Other faves have been the empanadas and the tacos.“

“Got the taco birria and nopal and my friend got the birria ramen. The taco birria was a bit dry but overall tasty; the birria ramen did outshine the taco. The spice level was great and the soup plus birria? Delicious. The nopal taco was my favorite and the cactus had a really great flavor to it!! Would recommend the ramen and nopal :).“

Seaside Market at Petco Park Street Vendors •
200 Park Blvd, San Diego

“Out of all the baseball stadiums i've been to so far, Petco Park has the best food by far. There is a huge variety from seafood, BBQ, mexican, american, desserts and more. Really you can't go wrong. Like at any ball park, most of the prices were high, but that's to be expected.I wanted something healthy for dinner knowing i'd want to get something sweet later, so I opted for a salad at Seaside Market. I got a couscous, arugula, tomato salad that was amazing. The total was $13 which i'd expect to pay at any typical market or cafe. It may have been one of the cheapest items that would count as a full meal. Overall, if you're in the mood for something on the healthier side, Seaside Market is a great option. But i'd recommend getting your food before you take your seat, because if you're on any level higher than the field level, it's a bit of a trek to get to the food.“
