“We really enjoyed our stop here. While staying at the La Quinta next door, my family and I struggled to decide on where to eat. We saw Flame Broiler and decided to give it a try. The quality of meat they use is excellent and you get more than enough. My kids, despite getting the smallest size meal they could, still couldn’t eat everything. Coupled with their different sauces, you’re in for a good meal with lots of flavor variety. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. “Don't even know where to start. (Yes, I do). Walked in, and BOOM! It sounds like the intro before you walk into heaven, lol. I hear the jazz melodies, the ambiance of a modern gatsby like dinner; people sitting, standing, walking, snapping, talking, dim but not too dim lighting, a small stage with a live musical band singing and playing jazz/blues music. Straight out of a movie, if you ask me.
And then I get to my seat, seats are beautiful, almost home like, but you still feel the ambiance of a smooth starlit restaurant. The servers were elite with response times, very accommodating. And the food came out promptly, the drinks were professionally crafted.
I had a old-fashion my 3rd time having one and this one was PERFECT. Ordered the brussel sprouts for an appetizer and the beef and chips with a cheese sauce. Man listen! The chips were like a thin steak fry, fried crisp with soft insides and chili powder and salt lightly coating it. I wanna say it had chives sprinkled atop too. The beef was a braised short rib very delectable. I was leery on the cheese sauce but it was so mild, and semi nutty flavor, creamy and very cohesive to the beef and chips. The sprouts were air-fried like with a balsamic reduction mm mm mmmm. Had the right amount of char and crisp and then you get to the heart it's tender. Sop it up in the sauce or eat em dry, they didn't disappoint.

My entree was a pan seared mahi mahi with a mash and mango slaw atop. I'm sorry I can't really describe it like I did the others because I INHALED IT...IMMEDIATELY HAHAHAHA. I was very very pleased. The flavor profiles were meshing very well. I had little doubts of the slaw but the slaw wasn't as sweet as I assumed but that's because the mash and the fish blended very well. The mahi was alllmost cooked perfect. Just a tad bit over-cooked on like the smallest piece of fish (which is understandable) so it didn't really take away from the dish because I can imagine what it'd be if it was perfect.
Afterwards we walked over to the seating area close to the stage where the harbor greets you with a beautiful bright smile glaring thru the window. The singer was amazing, the band was magnificent! The drummer and the trombone player pssssh bravo!

“The Pork Belly Fries are yummy and filling! This location is good for a hangout with friends. A bit pricey, but you get a big portion size and delicious fries. The portion size is good for two people to share. The meat is tender and fries are flavorful. I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular. We arrived during an afternoon and the location was empty. Plenty of seating options. Decent customer service. This business is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking spots.“

“Fantastic orange peel chicken, vegetable egg rolls, and mushu chicken! The curry was ok, but I'll try something different next time. Portion sizes are great. My one suggestion to the restaurant is that the mushu should include 4 wraps and not just 2. I definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“Great food in a crowded plaza. The food tastes as good as it looks but the parking lot is small so it could be tough getting in and out. A lot of parking spots are 30 minutes only so be careful, don't know if they keep track or tow cars.

Had to wait a while coming here during lunch time but it wasn't too bad. There is outside dining as well. Restaurant is owned by kei concepts I believe that is the name and a lot of their restaurants are really good, this one is no different.“

“What an amazing little hole in the wall grill. We were going to go to Longboards next door but decided against it. We got chicken and beef plates as well as a side of salmon and a California plate. Everything was fresh. Everything was delicious on the freshness of everything from the meat to the Sriracha. The salad was on point nice and leafy greens. The dressing wasn't too pungent and the sauce wasn't too heavy or old. Appreciation to the owner for having love in his restaurant and providing some beautiful grill food! “The owner, whom I have known for a long time, said that she opened a restaurant in Buena Park, but since the opening time is 5 PM, it was difficult to find the time to visit, so I couldn’t visit.
However, she recently changed the opening time and opened for lunch, so I visited last week.
I had Rosé Tteokbokki, So-tteok So-tteok, and Sweet Potato Fries, and the food was all good.
One thing I wish could be improved is the decoration and interior. The concept of this place is to approach young customers with a comfortable atmosphere, but the scribbles covering the tables and walls didn‘t look very good.

“I am a fan! This place is amazing. We had the Original Mazemen w Chashu, Chashu ramen, and Katsu rice. Everything was just finger-licking, lip-smacking, pants-unzipping good. Skip the dessert and add the rice to Mazemen. You won't regret it. I will definitely be back. Soon.
