This place is my go-to spot for Korean food, especially 아구찜, 은대구조림, and 닭갈비. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. Every time our family eats here, we leave happy with both the quality of the food and the value for what we paid.

FYI, the owner sometimes closes the restaurant due to personal reasons, so it’s a good idea to check that they’re open before heading out.

I’ve been a regular customer here, but this is getting very frustrating. Around Thanksgiving, you were closed for almost two weeks without notice, and I came all the way here for nothing. It hasn’t even been that long since that break, and the restaurant is already closed again today.

If you’re going to run a business, please at least update your hours on Google Maps. Posting a note on the door only helps people who live nearby — for customers who drive over 20 minutes, it’s extremely annoying to keep finding the place closed.

I understand that restaurant owners need breaks and vacations, but opening and closing whenever you want without clear communication is not respectful to customers. This used to be my go-to place because the dakgalbi is unique, but at this point, I’m done coming here.

Small restaurant that specializes in a chicken casserole.
Very flavorful and tender chopped boneless chicken including a savory sauce. The dish is served on a tabletop stove so it continues to cook throughout the meal.
House made banchan is delicious and also available for purchase.
Very kind and courteous staff, family run restaurant.
At then end of the meal, they will make fried rice with the rest of the sauce , letting it get a nice crisp bottom.
Also excellent seafood soup with noodles: a lot of clams and shrimp plus mussels in a flavorful clear broth.

Amazing authentic flavors with kick. Their small intestine stew were surprising good beyond normal expectations. Their chicken is affordable, recommend side of glass noodles, with fried rice at the end. Everything was superb including service, they made sure nothing were burnt. Would go again for sure.

The food was generally tasty, and the service wasn’t bad either.
However, I found it a bit sneaky that the tip suggestions—18%, 22%, and 25%—were calculated based on the total including tax, rather than the pre-tax subtotal, which is the standard practice.
I’m not sure which credit card processor the merchant uses, but it felt a bit misleading.

This is a family owned small korean restaurant. The Dakghalbi here is top tier delicious. With the right amount of spice, and plenty for serving size.

I went there for the first time yesterday. When I first entered the store, it looked very small and cramped, but later it felt like a home, which was fine. I ordered and ate chicken ribs and tried this and that.
I ordered extra and ate plenty of fried rice without any leftovers. Prosper in business and be happy!

I've only eaten dakgalbi several times. After the pandemic, food has become very poor and the quantity has decreased significantly, so it feels very expensive.

Small portions, but expensive prices. Taste is just okay. Atmosphere isn't great. Service alright. Even though we had ordered $100 worth (5 servings worth) for 5 people, owner seemed to think we needed to order more. The portions were so small, we ended up needing to order another dish making our total $120 not including tip or tax. Definitely better places in Buena Park.

Parking: Very small parking lot with a lot of other businesses.
