“When I went there yesterday for a late lunch during work and was thus starving, I realized after I ordered that I had forgotten my cash, debit and credit card in a purse I had used over the weekend. The cashier, Giovanni, came to the rescue, offering to put in the cash for me when I said I could Zelle him the money. How often do you find customer service like that these days? I almost cried. And the potato tacos were delicious! #Forevergrateful“

“This place was absolutely delicious. I walked over here for lunch while I was getting work done on a vehicle of mine at a nearby merchant. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the serving sizes were very healthy. I normally order a large bowl because of the small food portions but here, I had to take the rest to go because there was so much food. The service was also 10/10. The nice lady that helped me was super helpful and kind. I 10/10 recommend this place.“

“Efi is back!!!! The food here is excellent but we stopped dining in at the restaurant because our favorite server Efi was gone. We were only doing take out occasionally. But today..I saw her. She's finally back. She is the best server and so very kind and professional. With Efi and the amazing food we will certainly go back to dining in now. I highly recommend!“

“I love this place. It's my new favorite place. I know since I found it I've been going at least twice a week. The food is so good. The staff is so awesome and friendly and this place overall is such a vibe. The music is always playing. While I'm waiting for my food, it be jamming and I be singing and chilling 😅 also they have so many options and specials. The food is so affordable I haven't seen anything on the menu over $14 and for a vegan. If you know you know 🙄 And they even have a day where they give out free soup. “Both the savory food and panderia were delicious. We ordered 2 goat birria, 1 beef birria and 1 suadero taco. The flavors were excellent, the meat quality was great, the tortillas and salsa were hand made. And the tacos were large size, not small Tijuana tacos. I also ordered a pambazos which was crispy, flavorful and succulent. We tried 10 kinds of pan dulce and everything was fresh and affordable. We will definitely be back“

“I've eaten at several of the local taco stands and THIS ONE IS BY FAR THE BEST! Their al pastor is absolutely delicious because it's fired up on the trompo, sliced off, and cooked a la plancha to give it a crunchy texture while retaining its juiciness. My kid loves their cabeza. They also have suadero on the weekends. I've talked with several other customers during my visits there and they're all regulars because they also think it's the best taco stand around. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out.

“I found this hidden gem on accident. As I walked in, I can hear laughter great sign when working in the fast food industry. That means you have an a team on the front and back ends of the restaurant. I am glad to have found them. Food was fresh and fast. They have this awesome taco Tuesday special where you get 4 soft birria tacos and a drink for 10 bucks. What an awesome meal deal.“

“I have been bringing my family to Tacos El Plebe consistently for the past 3 years or so. I have tried many other spots including street vendors around the IE, but let me tell you that nothing compares to the quality in the taste and consistency of these folks. I was bummed to find they cut ties with the original folks that ran the stand, but nonetheless the quality of the food remains the same! I bring my kids, relatives, friends, and have even recommended it to colleagues if they happen to be in the area. You will get the most bang for your buck here!“

“Starting off with the torta. This thing was an absolute unit. Every bite was amazingly juicy and the flavor was dripping everywhere. I couldn’t get enough. The ramen was pretty decent. Honestly the consome was much better without the ramen. I’m thinking it might have been the type of ramen used wasn’t the best. The tacos were on special this day, so we ordered some, but they were kind of bland by themselves and I’d skip em the next time. Overall just get the consome and tortas.“

“This small, little drive-through is good for a quick grab and go. I recommend everything on the menu, but my all-time choice is the chicken asada burrito with the red salsa on the side and a Chile torriado on the side for an extra kick of spice.“

“It's in front of a house, family-run with them opened on sat and sun only. They sell mainly iced coffees and breakfast burritos. I got their pumpkin olla and chorizo burrito. The burrito ($5) came with scrambled eggs, potatoes, onions, cheese, and cilantro with green salsa. The burrito was a bit small but it was good. The iced coffee was not too bitter and not overly sweet.

They take zelle, venmo, and cash, the people were nice and the wait time was not long. Street parking only and it's a busy street.“

“Unfortunately today there was a blip in my son’s chile verde burrito. First of all he ordered a Chili Relleno Burrito and it had Chile Verde on it. So he thought ok. But it was a pork burrito! I told him to ask them for what I ordered. He blew it off. He regretted his decision. The pork meat was very dry and bland and so was the sauce. I tasted it and I agreed. Then I ordered Topo Chico soda water usual charge is $3.75. This time they charged $4.75. Why? Last Friday a young man served us our soda water in a nicely decorated Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. With an umbrella too. So cute. Our server said he wanted to make it worth your $3.75. I ordered the same thing today mind you. But this time the owner charged it as a Whiskey Shot…huh?!? So my son was charged an additional $1 for serving my soda water in a pretty Margarita glass, salted rim and a lime. 🍋‍🟩 So where was the Whiskey! 😂“
