“The Ube Matcha is a popular drink. It ran out by the time that I got here by 5pm so I got the Strawberry Matcha instead. Still a delicious drink. I finished it in its entirety. At some points I wondered if I was just drinking milk but there's a good strawberry matcha flavor. I appreciate how the wifi is displayed prominently at the front of the shop. You can also pay to paint some figurines of your choice. The cheezy croc is also fun to try at least once. It didn't have as much custard as I would have liked. Employees are willing to make adjustments if you request it.“

The young lady I talked to, Ashlynn, was so kind and patient and answered all of my questions. And the other girl, Kendall, made my bowl taste great! “This is my favorite local coffee shop in South OC! I love their iced lavender latte. They have a huge variety of flavors for coffee & more authentic tasting than a Starbucks. Wide variety of pastries, bagels, muffins, etc. All of their food is delicious & freshly made. I recommend the scramblers, salads & sandwiches. They have a nice patio for outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. The staff and owners are so sweet!

“Drove by this place on the way to laguna and it just looked so good we had to try. It was a little busy inside, but no line. It made me notice that there was only 1 girl taking orders and making the ice cream and the place was quite small, so a rush there has got to be bad. Then I saw it.... taro ice cream. I LOVE taro, and to see it in an ice cream is pretty rare so I was beyond hyped. Prices were definitely steep, but given the location it makes sense. I got a taro milkshake, and it came out to 9 dollars. My wife got a double chocolate with chocolate syrup, all toppings cost extra so hers was about 8 dollars.

The service was good, nothing to write home about. And it's ice cream so it came out pretty quick. My taro milkshake was very good, the taro flavor was all there and it wasn't overbearingly sweet. My wife on the other hand, who is obsessed with chocolate, didn't really like her ice ream. She said it was way too rich in flavor. I took a bite and yeah, very rich. Something I wouldn't be able to finish. Worker also gave her barely any chocolate syrup, which I don't think she actually charged me for which is nice but if she did, that would be a waste cause there was only like a small drizzle.

As soon as we got our ice cream, there was an entire kids baseball team, at least 20 people, with a line out the door and only 1 person to serve them AND make the ice cream. And they offer samples so you already know it's gonna take forever because everyone is gonna be trying flavors and being indecisive. I'm sure there was maybe someone in the back who was doing other things, but if there is not.. that is awful staffing and the business should be more considerate of their employees.“

While the staffs were initially unfamiliar with the offer, they handled the situation with exceptional professionalism and helpfulness. “Annie's Table is a cute little restaurant tucked away in this plaza next to Blizzard. With pre-made Korean sides and packed foods you can take to go or heat up, they offer fast lunch options in a clean, cafe-styled place.

While the place is tailored to the business lunch crowd (they're closed by 6pm and grab and go oriented), but they do serve fresh, made by the order meals and drinks.

I didn't get to try a drink this time, but they looked colorful and delicious. For lunch, I tried a classic - bibimbap. And every vegetable was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the meat was pleasantly sweet and savory but not too sweet like some bulgogi in bibimbap. Um... I accidentally ate the whole bowl by myself so I think that speaks for itself! The staff was so friendly and looked so happy to see me devour my bowl.

I also ordered a few items to go and ate them heated up at home the next day. There are SO many options! Between items like pickled lotus root and even chicken congee, I was tempted to get so many things but landed on mapo tofu, spicy eggplant, and kimchi pajeon.

The mapo tofu was on the sweeter side but very flavorful and a nice change of pace from the numbing spice versions I've had lately. The eggplant was so tender, delicate and bursting with bold flavor. And the pajeon was a nice tasty treat when air fried.

I would definitely be back to try more of Annie's food. For those stopping in for lunch during their work day, I recommend ordering ahead and enjoying their freshly made Korean comfort foods. Enjoy the cozy vibes!“

Above all, the food is DELICIOUS. I recently just tried the tocino chicken avocado sandwich and it was to die for! The vegetables are always fresh and flavorful while the chicken is always tender and juicy.
