Every first Friday in December, Laguna Beach celebrates Hospitality Night in the downtown LB village along Forest Avenue. We were there with thousands of others boisterously dancing & singing to music provided by talented local bands. We had reservations for our birthday party of twelve at 5:00.

Alessa is a restaurant that offers fantastic food, atmosphere, and service. The Lamp Pappardelle and mushroom ravioli are delicious options, and the linguine cacio e pepe is a great choice for vegetarians. The restaurant also serves great cocktails and has a nice selection of seating inside or outside. The staff, including the bartender and waiters, are incredibly nice and attentive. However, on busy nights, the restaurant can be packed, and the service may be delayed. The menu prices are reasonable for the portion and quality of food. Some guests have reported issues with cleanliness, including the ladies' bathroom not being clean and having no seat covers. Overall, Alessa is a great place to celebrate special occasions, and many guests plan to visit again. The restaurant's patio seating area is also a nice feature, although it can get chilly in the evenings and the seating quarters can be tight. Despite some issues, Alessa remains a highly recommended restaurant.
