Service and food presentation is top notch. Attention to detail while being in a quiet Japanese respectable quiet ambiance. Every drink always filled, wait staff doesn't miss a thing. The only down side is that this is like a fusion Japanese dinner, and not authentic traditional cuisine. If you're into mixing flavors in a creative new way, you're gonna love this place. But If you prefer traditional taste of the specific Japanese ingredients and traditional style without the fluff of "Americanized" or "modern" experimentation, you will be sorely disappointed. High end Japanese should feel like you're eating in Japan, there is no room for personal creativity. Michelin doesn't understand this about Asian culture.
Rebel is always an amazing time. This was our second time eating here, and the food was just as incredible as the first. The hospitality is always wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Went for my birthday for the first time. Very simple decor, first couple dishes were very cute and well presented. Rest of the meal was handheld Nigiri, fruit plate, and a simple dessert. Overall found it overpriced as I have been to many Michelin star Omakase's at lower price points.
I will just say one thing for this place it's my favorite restaurant and nothing can beat its quality and its ambience.
The male waiter was racist😡When I asked for more refills on ginger because I love it, he told me it was 'too expensive' and not to waste any????For real??

The manager accelerated my food and dessert, and sent me the bill right after my second dessert was served, while others were still waitingtheir first dessert. I don't know what this means, but I took it as an unwelcome message to me. I could certainly choose another fine dinning suchi bar if they told me that I am not welcome in the first place. Yet, they chose the most insulting way to me. I left a good tip tho, because the food was fresh. I hope they can improve their service and attitude of serving; otherwise, they may soon lose their star next year. But whatsoever, the restaurant is on my personal blacklist now.
Amazing service and food. It’s 100 percent an experience. Not a drop in and eat and feel stuffed situation

I didn't remember it also requires you to pay 20% tip upfront in reservation. I overpaid in dining with extra 20% as tip. This is really tricky and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Disappointing. One tiny bite of food every 20minutes while they push expensive alcohol selection. Chef was rude. You leave hungry.

Service and ambiance were great, but we were already $350 each which is a splurge for us to then see there were no sake bottle options of a reasonable price. They need some options way under $200. Everything was $200-2,000+
Food presentation was very pretty and artful and the ingredients were fresh and unique- but there was no flavor at all in most of the first half of the food. Everything was quite bland and had zero taste but on the other hand enjoyed trying the different Japanese ingredients.

5-stars overall but…
The food is exquisite in its sourcing, freshness, ingredients, patient preparation, and taste.
The service is impeccable and highly attentive.
The deco is stark and minimal hence only four stars for atmosphere.
…but don’t bring your appetite. You have to be okay with most dishes being only one or two bites; and after two-plus hours and a hefty check, prepare to walk away hungry.
It is Omakase, so expect the menu to change day-to-day and week-to-week, but if you come more than once, you may find or see a couple of the preparations repeated.
The flavors were on point, more subtle versus bursting on the tongue.
Fish and uni melted away in your mouth; duck was tender; shrimp was especially supple; and rice was perfectly cooked.
I was not a fan of their two different desserts, but I also don’t have a sweet tooth.
Reservations are highly recommended.
