This place is a gem! From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance is intimate and welcoming, with the chef working right in front of you, carefully preparing each dish with so much precision. You can really see the passion behind every course.
The sushi was incredibly fresh, each piece practically melted in my mouth. The chef explained every dish as it came out, which made the experience even more personal. My favorite had to be the uni—it was out of this world, creamy, and packed with flavor. Every bite just kept getting better.
On top of the amazing food, the sake pairing was spot on. You can tell a lot of thought went into every detail, from the timing of each course to how the flavors complemented each other. This place is a must if you’re looking for a true omakase experience.
I can’t recommend it enough. If you want top-tier sushi and a dining experience that feels like a journey, this is the place to go!

Excellent high end experience. Everything is spot on in first class details, down to the beautiful ancient- like beautiful bowls, paper thin water glasses, ambiant music, simplicity, service. Like having your own personal sushi chef. Everything is made for each individual in real time directly from the chef and 2 assistants. I was there for lunch and was totally satisfied when the experience was over. They seat only 6 people for lunch. I think I might make this my monthly indulgence.

Unbelievably good food. Service was outstanding. It was a little too quiet - would have liked if the chef talked more, especially about the food or preparation. But overall it was definitely an experience to be had and worth the price. I had read a few reviews about the quantity of food served but it was more than enough. For an average eater, it was a healthy sized meal.

This is a one of a kind experience for sushi lovers. The food was treated as a piece of art. Each dish followed by a piece of nigiri sushi was an amazing experience. The staff was very professional and made us feel very comfortable. The price point is high but definitely worth it.

Food and service were absolutely spectacular. We ate there the weekend before they got their Michelin star. We liked it better than the other OC area Michelin rated restaurants. The black cod was one of our favorites that night.

I knew we were in for a treat when our server noticed I was left-handed and re-organized the place setting to suit me. I've never had that happen. That level of attention continued through the evening, so special.
