Truly the best steak dinner in Orange County. Selanne's is consistently outstanding in food, service and ambience.

Our evening at Selanne's was wonderful! Our waiter Dimitri was very friendly and informative, and the staff all worked together. We asked to share our dishes, and they were more than happy to and brought us separate plates. We had the sun- dried tomato ravioli, the fresh bread loaf with special butters, the wedge salad, the 12 oz Filet mignon, and a baked potato. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Service was great.

We had a wonderful time celebrating an anniversary, and the gesture of a handwritten note card was amazing. The ambience was beautiful as well, and the food was superb. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to go eat next time you are in Laguna . I would like to see Temmu there as well 😁 cheers

First time at Selanne and we will be back! All around fantastic evening out with the family. Has signature cocktails, wine, steaks and halibut - all wonderful. Sides were to die for. Top it off with beautiful ambiance and great service, we fully enjoyed our evening.

What a culinary experience! We won't top this one anywhere. Our server Nigel is a true polymath in the cuisine arts. He knows the subtleties and particulars of the wine list and every menu item. He got a grasp on our tastes and gave his recommendations. He helped us match our side dishes with our main dish to create an unmatched experience that raised the bar. Ask him about his vintage table crumber, there's a fascinating story.

We have eaten here in the past and wanted to come back. The food was excellent and they gave us wonderful service.
We were charged a $45 corkage fee without any prior notice. When we asked about it, the waiter casually said, “$45 isn't that expensive.” Then the manager—who looked like he just started high school—told us they don't disclose the corkage fee upfront because “some customers get offended.” I didn't realize we were dining with Bill Gates. Transparency clearly isn't on the menu here.

The food was delicious and service was excellent. I wish we could have sat inside but it was a busy evening. Sitting outside was not my first choice so the ambiance was mediocre. But we will definitely go back and request to sit inside.

Be aware if you're a party of 2 you will probably be seated in the bar area with tvs, loud music and face level to the butts of the bar patrons. Not the ideal ambiance for a nice dinner. Request loft or outdoor. Food was amazing, service was great. Tartare, ribeye and filet ordered. Definitely will return.

Fabulous food! Great atmosphere and good energy. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and we had an amazing time! He enjoyed a wonderful steak and I had the best halibut ever. I highly recommend this restaurant & we will be going again this summer.
