This used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. But Sadly, the scallops and shrimp we ordered this time had that telltale scent of ‘almost something else entirely.' The rest of the dishes were fine, but the overall portions just didn't feel as generous as they once were. A little heartbreaking..

A decadent culinary experience that, while not for the faint of wallet, rewards your taste buds with dishes you'll never forget. The Mac and Cheese with Parmesan foam, toffee pudding and 40 oz. Wagyu Tomahawk steak are particular standouts, but don't miss the Beet Ravioli salad and pick-apart bread with wagyu beef tallow butter to start.

Excellent food. Sear on stake was perfect as was temp. Mac and cheese drew me in even though I am not typically a Mac guy- the Parmesan Foam on top was stuff of legends. Server was first rate. Felt like we were family. Noise was a little tough at first - we were seated closer to the bar. However, quieted down nicely. We enjoyed the wonderfully fresh oysters and bubbly. The mignonette was fresh and delicious. Toffee bread pudding with treackle (sp!?) will be remembered for a long time. All in all one of the finest meals and experiences I can remember.

I was a bit disappointed, the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, no complaints about them.
We ordered two sides, green beans and Mac& cheese. The sun dried tomatoes in the green beans were so salty it ruined the whole side dish. The Mac& cheese was delicious because it's basically drowning in fat, cream, butter, and cheese, too much cream components.
We also ended up seated in the bar area and it was loud. We noticed there was a quieter room on the way out, so I would recommend asking for a quieter room or outside if you want to have conversations.

This is the first time I’ve submitted a review ever. I feel compelled as the meal did not live up to the price. We started with the Caesar salad. Lettuce was great, but lacking in flavor. We ordered the ribeye, cooked medium. Both were closer to medium rare, the fat completely uncooked, and dry. The sides were mushrooms, mashed potatoes however the server suggested Mac and cheese. Way too much food and it felt like an oversell since I asked if the sides were shareable enough for 2 people. We waited a very long time between our salad and getting the steak. Our server never checked in to say the kitchen was behind or apologize for the delay. I didn’t want dessert, but my husband has a sweet tooth and was hungry because we didn’t like our steak, the mushrooms (they prepared in a sauce and very rich) or the Mac and cheese (too al dente and much cream). We ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was one of the best we’ve ever had. That said, we would only come back in the future for coffee and this dessert.
Sat at the bar and loved it! You need to try the Mac and cheese here. Also loved the steak and mushrooms. Everything here is SO GOOD. Food and service is excellent shout out to Jared at the bar he was wonderful!!!
