Absolutely one of the best Mexican spots. We eat here weekly. Mini bean and cheese burritos, carne asada burrito, fish burrito, salsa, horchata are my favs. No seating here. Take home.
Just as good as Store on Jeromino!
Las Golondrinas saved my brother’s wedding. The planned caterer had to back out day of, leaving us with no food. Las Golondrinas came through and prepared catering for a wedding of 150 people in an hour. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed. Las Golondrinas not only delivers on great food but on service to the community. Truly a great restaurant.

Las Golondrinas Mexican Food offers delicious and affordable Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is known for its tasty tacos, with four tacos costing less than $20. Customers praise the fresh tortillas, especially at the San Juan Capistrano location, where they can watch them being made. Although the food quality is generally high, some customers have experienced issues with undercooked rice in their burritos. The menu features breakfast, a la carte, and combo meals, with favorites like crunchy beef (asada) tacos and beef enchiladas. Food is generally prepared within 15 minutes of ordering, making it a convenient option.
While the restaurant has friendly service, some customers have noted that the staff at certain locations may not provide the best experience. There is no seating for diners, making it a takeout-focused establishment. The tamale has received negative feedback for being dry, but many enjoy the excellent tacos and taquitos. Overall, the authentic, quality dishes and the value for money make Las Golondrinas a popular choice for locals and tourists seeking Mexican food in Southern California.
