“This place is bomb. A coworker recommended it. I walked in and told the girl in line behind us to go ahead because we had never been there before. She said me either! And we all laughed about that. This place is cool tho. Laid back vibe, friendly employees. The burger…probably the best I have ever had, no joke. This is exactly how I like them. A real smash burger with crispy edges. Double was $8 and it comes with grilled onion, bacon, cheese, sauce and you can add a lot of other stuff. Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and good seasoning. When we left we said thanks and the guy in the back said “hey see you guys tomorrow?” I was like…yeah lol…cause he might. If not tomorrow we will for sure be back very soon. Give this place a chance, you won’t be sorry.“

“Nobody does it better. Our favorite place to eat. The nicest, most efficient people work there. Very clean. We eat in Yucaipa store. We love the "keep it simple" rule. Proves you don't need a hundred things on a menu, but you do need to do it right, and you are the best“

“Went in on a quiet Monday morning for breakfast. Was nice and clean. Had a veggie omelet with country potatoes and toast. Was descent and tasty although the omelet didn't really look like an omelet it appeared the cook kinda lost control of it. So it was half omelot half scramble looking ?. Portion was fair I believe it was $14 and coffee $3.50. The plate was enough that a friend and I split it. A hearty eater would have wanted it all for themselves though?“
“If you like McDonald's fries, you'll definitely enjoy these. They are nicely seasoned, fresh, and crispy. The burger that I bought was delicious and the price was super cheap for what it was. The wife and I paid $22 for two burger combos, considering how prices are nowadays, it's super cheap. The only thing that I will say is that the wait time might be a little longer than usual. When we went, the only people who were working there were an elderly couple, but I guarantee that the wait is worth it. I am definitely going to be a returning customer.“

It's steak where you can taste a past life, you can taste the grind, you can taste the blood sweat and tears to get them to this shop, and I see it. By God do I see it. “The Blue Jay blue cheese burger at Spade and Spatula is amazing (wagyu beef patty, gorgonzola crumble, balsamic glaze, candied bacon, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato). Wagyu beef comes from Japanese cows that are fed a special diet. The beef is a different color from regular hamburger meat, and it tastes much different and much better. My waitress Isca was dressed as Krampus, the horned being that travels with St. Nick to deal with the not so nice children. Spade and Spatula has wonderful food and great service.“
