“I go to Ewings atleast once a month and I was so excited when I found out they hosted events. I had my wedding in the back room last night and it was just BEAUTIFUL. They really did a good job decorating the back room for events. Patty was such a help to me and making sure I had everything I needed, the food is ALWAYS amazing, and staff is always the nicest. Bradlie was my server for all 40 people and she did absolutely amazing.“
“We came out for Kernville Kampout and passed Kern River Tavern a few times. It's only about a year old but definitely has the neighborhood charm of a decades-long watering hole. We were lucky to make it for Bingo (Sundays at 4pm)! $1 per game, per card. We got smoked by the local crowd . The bartender LaLa was so friendly and gave us tons of great recommendations on drinks (whiskey sour vs old fashioned), sights to see nearby (nature-made water slide) and restaurants (McNally's for steak) to eat at. I enjoyed my whiskey sour and my boyfriend liked his beer! Saw some Harley memorabilia on the walls Had a great time. Note: no food, just a few chip bags or Chex mix available.“

We had fish tacos, pulled pork tacos and pulled pork sandwich, it was some of the best pulled pork I've ever eaten! “Utterly phenomenal are the words that come to mind. I cannot recommend this place enough. The side corned beef and hash was out of this world! French toast was excellent and so was my husbands skillet. They have an outdoor patio and welcome dogs if you can keep them by your feet and out of the walkway. Do yourself a favor and check this place out for breakfast! They open at 7am. As with all restaurants in the area they do tend to get packed all at once so be patient and kind to your server.“
“I recently went the diner and had the best experience. My waitress tonight was exceptionally tentative. She went above and beyond to meet our needs. It’s hard to find kindness in services these days. Her name was Clarissa, I believe. You’re the reason we will be back. The food was a plus but your personality and service was exemplary!!“
“The ceviche was incredibly fresh. I had the special ceviche and everything was perfect. The balance, the flavors, the colors. I did not expect to find good ceviche here but was pleasantly surprised. I also have to say the service was great. 10/10 would come back!“
