Small Japanese restaurant. Looks so authentic. We ordered Sashimi dinner and Ton katsu, so delicious. I would not dine during peak hours due to the limited space. Recommended!

There is no place like Fukusuke! I have followed them from Sausalito to their Larkspur location. I have been going to Fukusuke since the early 90’s. Warren and Mama San are so kind and attentive. This is a family run restaurant and they treat their customers like family ! Great food, experience and people.

We walked in and weren't greeted, just looked at lol. The hostess/servers looked busy so we didn't want to bother. The atmosphere was nice. We were fine with waiting and a table had just opened up so we thought we would be sat soon enough (it was just my bf and I). A group of 3 came in about 10 minutes after us, but positioned themselves in front of us. The hostess cleaned the table and then looked at all of us and said how many and we said 2 and the other group said 3 and they sat them. We left after that, so we didn't get to try the food.

I liked the Chicken Terriaki, and the Sashimi platter was excellent. For a restaurant in a strip mall, it surprises with it's quality and food and enjoyable Japanese ambience. It's small, so you might need to wait, and it won't be a fine dining or full restaurant experience, but is worth it.

This is my go to ramen place. I found this place after my normal ramen spots closed due to covid and I am so glad to have found this place. I always get the meat lovers tonkatsu and its delicious. The noodles are always perfect and the broth is well balanced. Its silky and delicious without feeling greasy and heavy. The pork is also great, its well seasoned and tender. This place is perfect if your looking for a great bowl of ramen on a chilly day. They also have good sushi and wings. I also would recommend going during their happy hour if you want to try a few things, it has great options and allows you to get a little of everything!

I've recently discovered Fukusuke, and it has quickly become my favorite sushi restaurant in town. What sets it apart for me is the wonderful family-run atmosphere. The owners are incredibly sweet and always make me feel right at home with their warm welcomes. And let's talk about the sushi - it's simply amazing. The quality of the fish is top-notch, and the pricing is reasonable, making it even more appealing. Fukusuke is the perfect place to enjoy delicious sushi while feeling like part of the family.

Excellent food. Charming, cozy place, family-run. Will definitely be back. Unagi Don with sashimi, gyoza, and cheesecake were all terrific. Cheesecake is very unique! Has an eggy almost flan-like texture, light and delicious. Great little gem of a place.

The most authentic Japanese meal I’ve had in the Bay Area. This is inclusive of some of the top rated places in SF. Mama-san is a gem! The food is also high quality, maybe low presentation, but very fresh and tasty!

Authentic Japanese food! Two sweet ladies-- I think one is the obasan (grandmother), and her daughter. They were so kind, gracious, hard working and sweet. Best chicken katsu I've had (breaded chicken cutlets). Huge portion, super light, juicy, tender and crispy. Don't forget to squeeze the lemon on it. Delish! Huge bento portion-- hubs got the tempura and chicken teriyaki. Comes w/ salad, delicious miso soup, and a cucumber and cabbage appetizer. Great value for $24 for dinner. Tempura was a generous portion and crispy. Cheesecake was light. Grandma said she made it and it has cream cheese and soy milk. Tastes homemade and everything tasted like it was made with love. Small restaurant with about 8 tables. Grandma was hustling the whole time. Love these hidden gems with delicious, authentic food. Arigatou gozaimasu - ありがとう ございます!

Arrived Friday evening about 6pm, and were given a dirty glass and dirty sauce tray. Sushi portions seem a little small, everything the size of California roll. ginger pork had nice grill marks but was tough and chewy. Unfortunately a bit disappointed, it is currently rated 4.4 stars and our experience was sub par.
