“I hadn't had KFC for a couple of years and was craving it. We lost our local KFC so one day when I was out running errands I decided to drive over to this one in lemon grove. The parking lot was so full! It's in a shopping center and I had a little difficulty spotting up because the GPS was sending me the wrong direction. Boy of the prices gone up since I last ate but then they've gone up everywhere. I got the two-piece special which was more than enough food. Lake, thigh, mashed potatoes, no coleslaw anymore on this one. 5.99 so it's still a cheap meal comparatively. The chicken was cooked through and had great flavor so even though I know it's cooked in an unhealthy way it was still a delicious meal. Guilty pleasure you might say. The girl behind the counter was very nice and the place looks pretty clean.“

“Food is always on point and the people very friendly. But I wonder how important cleanliness is, it feels that everytime I go, the tables and floor are a mess. I get that a lot are disgusting and don't know how to clean after themselves, but as a restaurant, they should consider cleaning the dinning area. Hope this doesn't come off in a wrong way, but that's an important part in my opinion.“

“This place serves 85 years of proven deliciousness. It is simple. It is hearty. These days, it is even out of the ordinary. Just go. You will be glad that you did. If you are like me, you’ll remember how Mom would heat the oven to 450 degrees and place the block of ice Hungry Man pot pie in the oven for one hour till it transformed into a cauldron of molten lava. My mother would even crack open the hood of the pie and load it with an extra cup of frozen peas and carrots that would cook to perfection in the heavenly inferno of scrumptious delight, which made me the muscular hunk of love that I am today. The San Diego Chicken Pie Shop serves up a pie that is an even better recipe than the one in my memories of my dear Mom. If your are nearby, give it a try.“

“I love crack shack. I was born n raised in San Diego but moved to Memphis where I learned what good fried chicken is. This is the fried chicken spot in Southern California. Fire nugs+fries+pickles you can not go wrong. The bar tender is really awesome and the food is seasoned perfectly. Really good desserts as well.“

“I only ordered their seaweed rolls and cheese balls as snacks. I liked the seaweed rolls more and the soy sauce (and vinegar?) dip that came with it but enjoyed the cheese balls too. I couldn’t tell if the batter or the cheese was a tiny bit sweet, but the contrast was enjoyable with the savory seaweed rolls and the salty dip—I imagine it would be just as enjoyable (if not more) with an order of chicken. I ordered take out with Fantuan but will hope to dine in and order chicken next time! The inside is very inviting for hanging out and dining in.“

“It was too busy and orders were coming out burnt (guy next to me), or in my case....cold. Fried zucchini
should come out hot. I don't think I've had that big of a problem here it's just between forgetting to put things in your bags when you're in the drive thru, things like that then of course there's the less food for more money thing. Try the times when they're not busy. I mean the food is good it's just inconsistent.“

“Nice quiet kfc fastfood in Bonita. The service is fast, place is clean, and staffs are somewhat friendly. I ordered what used to be a $5 fillup is now almost $6, still reasonable for two pieces of chicken, side, biscuit, chocolate chip cookie, and a regular drink. Some of the benches need to be replaced, but overall, very comfortable with the dining environment. Hidden away in a non busy area of bonita.“
