“Visitors from Texas: We went for breakfast, and the food was simply delicious and the prices were reasonable. But the best part was the service: We lost some documents, and we thought we'd left them there. The entire staff was cooperative and friendly. They even gave us a follow-up call. Unfortunately, we couldn't find them (we lost them in the parking lot), but we were very grateful for the staff's support. If you go to San Diego, be sure to visit this delicious restaurant!! We will definitely return!“

“Service is always fast, it can be little busy and loud but the crepes are so delicious, I make the drive to this place since there aren't any good ones in my local area. I never have been served anything incorrectly made and the workers are attentive to what I ask for (added/taken off items).“

“I always try to stop by R&B tea if I am near one. There aren’t many in San Diego so it’s always a treat if I can get my favorite drink: brown sugar boba milk.
Brown sugar boba milk - my favorite! The fresh milk is so tasty and mixed with a salted cheese foam with brown sugar. (Do not adjust the sweetness down or it won’t be as flavorful.)
Some other R&B locations offer this is a XL size for $2 more, but not this location.
The worker was friendly and made our drinks fast during a weekday afternoon.

“Love, love, love El Cajon Bistro! It really is the best breakfast in town. Almost as if the North Park brunch scene found its way to east county, and I'm so happy it did. I always get a Benedict, the poached eggs are always perfect and the hollandaise is satisfying. The salsa that came with the breakfast potatoes was SO GOOD. I will be dreaming about it until I can have it again. My grandma and I always come here whenever I am in town. Highly recommend.“

“This is a great American breakfast diner experience! I love corn beef hash, but rarely order it because most places use a canned product. THIS was heavenly! The best corn beef hash I've had in decades. They grind it fresh daily!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. It's 20 minutes from our Air B&B but I will drive for this again!!“
