We had a GREAT brunch here last Saturday! First thing to know is when you drive here be aware that the sign for Lazy Hippo is very difficult to see. Look for the Whiskey House - it is right next door and actually Lazy Hippo isn't even open - everything is served at the Whiskey House. Food was delicious - they have a few vegan options that were good - my vegan breakfast burrito was a little bland but nothing some salt and pepper coudln't fix. Came here Saturday morning for breakfast. My friend suggested this spot and I'm glad he brought me here. The Whiskey House and Lazy Hippo are the same from what the host told us. There was no line and we were seated promptly inside. The inside was really cool with a huge selection of whiskey. Kicked it off with coffee ($4.25 - free refills) and freshly squeezed orange juice ($6) which were both very good. The menu has a good selection of delicious dishes! We were served breakfast on The Whiskey House outdoor patio which is on a quiet street. The wood picnic tables were comfortable and have large umbrellas for shade.
