“We were traveling from Yosemite back to San Francisco and needed gas so happened upon this place by accident but it was a PLEASANT surprise! The beer on tap was delicious and the sandwiches and burgers were top quality! It is inside a grocery store/gas station so very unassuming but it is definitely restaurant quality. My husband got the tri tip sandwich (pictured), which seemed expensive for the venue, but when we got it, it was well worth the price. I got the reuben, which was market rate and fantastic. The people working there were also superb and wonderfully patient with us regarding our kids’ food allergies, proactively double checking and bringing everything as ordered. We had to leave them an extra tip and a five star review. Stop here for dinner if you’re making the same road trip!!“

“We had purchased a fundraiser dinner for 16 at Saint Ann’s Crab Feed, then Covid hit which affected everyone. But let me tell you we finally got to experience a little bit of Paul Ratto‘s magic in the kitchen and it was well worth the wait. This guy is so extremely talented and prepared us a phenomenal dinner, and it happened on my birthday. I would recommend heritage dining for any of your catering needs, and hope to see them open for more occasions.“

“Stopped for lunch a couple weeks ago. It was our first time dining at the Grateful Gypsy Bistro. I had the fresh pasta with bolognese, Hubby had a burger. We both were beyond impressed. My Bolognese was delicious! Best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Imo- better than the one at Pasta Moon! Hubby’s burger was equally delicious… Food was amazing! Portions were plentiful. We will definitely be back!“

“3rd stop in 15 years… if I’m within 2 or 3 hours I’m gonna go, and I live in Alberta, Canada!!! Best grilled oysters and attitude ever. Highly recommended. My first stop was “just passing through “ in 2008.“

“I love that almost all the great local wines are available in the bar. The ribs and pesto are my favorite, and have had that more than 100 times. I like the bar and old side. I absolutely hate the new open table area in the the back and refuse to sit there. They need to give that a little more character. It is too open and noisy with poor quality tables and chairs. They could make some large booths and maybe even a curtain around the booths to quiet it down.“
