Restaurant is located next to the Livermore runway. It is expected there will be a certain amount of noise and confusion. The restaurant is not upscale so maybe saving your "special occasion" idea for a different venue would be a good idea.
If you want somewhere to go that is quiet and unique then this is the place. I have visited this restaurant a few times and I have never been disappointed with their meals. They have a great bar and a good menu. I think their prices are a bit high but that is to be expected. The service is typically really good since the place is never crowded and you can watch planes take off in the runway at the airport. We were celebrating birthdays, and our visit was perfect! The food was amazing and watching air traffic is always fun. Our server was superior!!
