Octable Eatery in Livermore is a hidden gem offering mouthwatering traditional Taiwanese dishes bursting with flavor. The attentive service includes staff always on hand to refill water glasses and promptly clear away dishes. Notable dishes include a flavorful chicken dish, crunchy salt and pepper squid, excellent shrimp, tasty green beans, pork belly bao, and Dan Dan noodles with cucumber. The restaurant is spacious and accommodating for large groups, but the tiny stools could be more comfortable. Overall, it’s a wonderful place with a great variety of food and a unique addition of sparkling water on tap.
