“In September of 2024, this restaurant was under new ownership. The menu has a little Middle Eastern flare to it, which I rather enjoy. Food portions were reasonably sized, and we'll prepared. Service was excellent, but that may have been due to the lack of patrons. They do have a pleasant atmosphere, and I would go back.“

Also a zarrandeado that was so very good and succulent, and didn't just taste like soy sauce. They are on another level here. Better than any we have found in LA, and worth the trip.“

“Our first time here. We’ve been looking for some good fried fish for such a long time and couldn’t be more pleased with what we ordered; oysters, red snapper and jumbo shrimp. They were gorgeous in color, the perfect crisp, even the tartar sauce was good although not filled to the top but it definitely didn’t come out of a package. “For the most part very friendly service though when they're super busy they have a tendency to forget your order. Large menu and lots of drink options from the fridge if you want more mainland Chinese beverages that are harder to find in a local 99 ranch or so. Also the portions are huge for how much food you get especially in this economy and especially considering it's Riverside (I've found riverside to be more expensive for lower quality food compared to being in West LA, some parts of the bay, lots of places). The skewers with chicken heart don't knock it til you try it it's super flavorful. They also have a big beef hotpot kind of dish which could probably feed two very hungry big guys or the large for only $5 or so can feed probably 4-5 average people.

Vegetarian options: Kind of limited

Dietary restrictions: Lots of seafood ingredients and spices so be wary for that

Parking: Head into the back for parking or try parking in a different plaza“

And the food is outstanding. The oysters were super fresh and the seafood almohada was excellent with plenty of fresh seafood. I will definitely be back“

“Great place to kill your seafood cravings, every time I come here I order the same. A tostada of shrimp ceviche cooked in lime juice, empanadas de camaron and a order of Langostinos. I have tried some other items on their menu and they are really good too but those are my favorites. Great food, great service and reasonable prices! That's what I have been getting here for years!“

“I was going to give them 5 stars but I didn’t just because the owner is never on time when it comes down to open and her employees have to wait for her . What a traditional way to manage people. Every time we go there they late to open. She must not need the money.
But the food is so good. Aside the fact of Mrs. Huevos don’t show on time everything else is so good !“

“Seems a bit like a little bodega converted to a counter order restaurant as far as ambiance. You get your own drinks from the cooler like at 7-11. Not a lot of seating, but the food was actually pretty good. Somewhat pricey but then again what isn't these days, and seemed authentic. The waitress was attentive and courteous, with a great smile. Luckily when I visited I was with two other women who spoke Spanish fluently and helped me with the menu.“
