Dining at Bixby Provisions is an incredibly pleasurable experience and is now one of my go-to recommendations for anybody interested in dining within the city of Long Beach. I began with the Poke Tostadas which were very refreshing and a perfect way to lead me into a heartier entree. I followed with the Steak and Frites which was cooked to perfection with a delectably tasty sauce. I’ve been here a couple times now and the smash burger is probably the best item on the menu. We got a Bixby burger this last time and it was okay, a little sloppy with a bit too much sauce and cheese. The burger fell apart. I wouldn’t recommend the salads, especially not the sweet potato chickpea salad (it was too mushy for my liking). What I did find absurd is charging $1.50 for ranch.
