Caffe Luxxe

Stopped in for a caramel macchiato this afternoon. It was amazing!! Staff was great!!

Caffe Luxxe is a very nice stop for good espresso drinks in a mall/shopping plaza setting. The staff is friendly and work quickly to serve. If you are familiar with their other locations in southern California you will appreciate their product consistency.

Their menu has your typical espresso-type drinks, a drip, Chai, and a nice assortment of bakery goodies. The espresso pulls is above average with a nice balance of aroma and intensity.

There isn't anything exceptionally special here, but everything is displayed and served well. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes in this shopping plaza.

Great cortado (they call it a "Gibraltar"). The vegan pastries were delicious!! I highly recommend the vegan peach roll.

The girl barista is racist and treated me poorly for no reason . She didn’t even give me her full attention while ringing me up ,she straight up left me there and got annoyed with me when I asked to heat up the pastry ( that I asked for warmed up) and flung it back to me when it was done . BUT SHE WAS VERY CHIPPER TO HER WHITE CUSTOMERS , I guess I have to look like a corporate siren for her to treat me like a human being. And after all that, my coffee didn’t even taste right ?‍↕️ mind you, I kept calm after everything and waited to get to my car for me to write this review and it reminded me how people really do treat you different just because of the color of your skin ? She had short hair and glasses , the guy barista was a sweetheart and this happened on Saturday at 9am ?

Normally go for the coffee, service and atmosphere! Great in all senses. An a great central location as a meeting point to friends and clients!

Coffee is weak, pretty diluted. I've gotten the latte and mocha. Nothing special. I like that you get your coffee in a proper cup if you drink it there. Good vegan options. Customer service is below average, staff not friendly. I come here for convenience and atmosphere. Not in love with coffee quality. Gonna start going to Whole Foods instead. Better tasting coffee, better price, friendlier staff, and I’m not guilted into tipping for meh coffee and service.

Love their iced vanilla latte. Their sweetener is not overkill. It's enough to sweeten and enjoy the natural flavor of espresso. Please try this amazing latte treat! It's so good! I was afraid to share the goodness because I love to enjoy these hidden treasures without the crowds of people but hey, maybe they will expand? ?

Not a huge fan of the coffee, but it wasn't bad. I got an Ethiopian drip. It had a fruity flavor but not the traditional coffee taste that I enjoy. Again, it's wasn't bad, but if you want traditional coffee try a different variety. The atmosphere was relaxed, they have a bathroom and staff is friendly.

My favorite coffee shop. I am Italian and love my coffee. I have been coming here since they opened and the attention to detail is always very appreciated. The staff does a great job and they are always super friendly and helpful. Last but not least the patio… it makes the experience so much more enjoyable.

Lovely coffer shop with good coffee and good service! I don't know how they do it, but all the drinks for my party of 7 came out super quick!! The crew was very efficient ? I loved my caffe frizzante.

I have to say this is probably one of the strongest/overpowering Chai's I have ever tasted but the customer service is embarrassing. We got a hot almond milk chai and it was so incredibly watered down that we went back to exchange it for something else because I could not drink it. We were very nice when we returned simply stating that we would like to exchange it out since it wasn't drinkable. The girl who helped us (I believe the manager) just stared at us and made me an iced version in about 25 seconds which dare I say was worse and handed it over without saying a word. There was also so much cinnamon on top it was overpowering. I could argue that the taste just isn't for me but the customer service was terrible and very representative of California. Don't choose this line of work if you don't know how to be nice to people...that is your job! She could have easily apologized and said "I am so sorry it didn't work for you. Is there something else we could make for you?" or "Yes, some customers think the taste is a little strong so I suggest x instead." I ended up tossing my $7 drink and the drink and customer service left a bad taste in my mouth.

It was a nice place and the people were very friendly. However, I got one of the iced teas and tiramisu cup and I felt that the drink didn't have any flavor at all. The tiramisu was so-so and tasted a bit like medicine.

My review of Caffe Luxxe, Long Beach!I`ll start by saying the vibe is right up there with the upcountry Kula coffee plantations looking over the blue Pacific..( Well, almost.)The Baristas? Oh, "Hell to the yes!" I couldn`t imagine going anywhere else in the morning! Luv them, yeah, luv them! So professional , so nice ,and, well ,they really are the best-for sure, yeah.. Where would I be without starting my morning there?-- A lesser place.Mick.Don`t waste your money anywhere else.And the scones rule,,,,
