Chelsea Chowder House & Bar offers a mixed dining experience. The service is outstanding, with friendly and attentive wait staff like Juan. The food, however, is a hit or miss. While some dishes like the clam chowder, vegan crab cakes, and apple cinnamon tart are delicious, others like the oysters Rockefeller and seafood tower fall short. The kitchen can be slow at times, leading to delays in food delivery. The view is gorgeous, making it a great spot for a quick dinner before a show. The noise level can be high when the restaurant is busy, and the lack of carpeting contributes to this. Overall, the restaurant offers a good QM experience and view, but some dishes may not meet expectations.
