I visited Long Beach From San Diego, and a friend recommended this restaurant, when I went there, The lady Was so nice, and the place was so clean, the atmosphere was serene too, then the food? Okay I give it an 10/10 ( I ate the fufu and okro soup) I have never had such a meal experience before, I really wish the restaurant is in San Diego, and because I’m Active Duty Military I can’t be Going to LA every time, and the distance makes it very difficult to deliver but it’s an experience that I wish on everyone, at least once in your lifetime….I will definitely be back there 100 percent.

I had the Egusi Fish Fufu and puff puff for desert and I have to say ABSOLUTELY AMAZING the fish was good addition to the Egusi. The puff puff was an unsweet doughnut type of pastry which was a nice after meal desert but wasnt able to eat many as I was full from Egusi Fish and Fufu.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Delicious! I'm glad such a niche resturant was near my county! I ordered the Ogbono soup with goat meat and fufu, I was so satisfied! My meal was piping hot all the way to the end. If you order your food spicy, their spiciness will definitely give your taste buds a kick (just how I like it). Love how slimy and meaty my soup was. The prices were a bit expensive, but that might be due to the difficulty in sourcing out some of their ingredients?Free parking is available in the back as well as on the side streets. My compliments to the chef and receptionist! They were both so welcoming, cordial and hilarious!Vegetarian options: Spinach egusi soup is offered!Dietary restrictions: They are accommodating to your dietary restrictions. My partner didn't like tripe, so they removed tripe from his mixed meat dish.

This food and the customer service is horrible. They just try to sell the full extra charge. You with taxes on something that I didn’t buy like yams the meat is extra hard. Be careful make sure you ask him to boil it. They were just sell it to you as is.Dietary restrictions: Nothing as a diet here, all the food and spices in oils gluten

Where do I start with this place? First impression, walking in to this place I should have just walked out when I seen this was a fast food style place. But I was optimistic . I ordered the spinach and chicken stew ... once they started warming up the food, the entire place began to smell like dirty putang and feet. I didn't equate the smell came from my spinach and chicken stew but later when I get home I realized it was in fact my food causing that pungent smell. The chicken was old, spinach probably spoiled as well. Fufu was disgusting. I've had some amazing experiences with African cuisine but this one was by far the worse. I ended up just getting tacos because the food was just THAT smelly and disgusting. My friend ended up having food poisoning after eating his food from here. The 1 person who was friendly and acknowledged us was the best part of our visit. That was the cashier. The rest of the people were rude. Sadly that's usually a sign that the food is great but not in this case. Save your money.

I'm not an African so I'm not sure what it should taste like exactly. But if it's that I don't want it. The food was extremely greasy and I mean everything. The chicken tasted pungent like it was part goat. Not to mention dry and no flavor. The service was decent. I didn't like the smell of the restaurant but I am always willing to give things a try. I've had some great food at hole in the wall places. Not to say that this place was that. It was clean and nicely decorated. I won't be going back. Side note: I think I was looking for what Ethiopian food gives. I also should read the reviews on this place before making that trip. Oh well $40 down the drain.
