I definitely prefer the vibe here over the Huntington Beach location, especially at night the mood just hits different. Drinks are decent, nothing mind blowing. Service could be better though felt like I had to get their attention a few times. Came on a Thursday night and most of the servers were hanging around the bar instead of checking tables.

It started as a classy place to go on a date and is now similar to a Hooters.

Confusing: there was someone to greet you. But not telling you about the place and how it works.
Saw alot of people sitting with drinks not sure about eating. My expectations was to be seated but that didn't happen and no one to guide you.

The Bungalow in Long Beach has a great location and the overall aesthetic of the place is really impressive at first glance — it looks amazing and definitely gives off a fun, upscale vibe.

However, our experience was mixed. Right from the entrance, the security staff came off as unprofessional — one of them seemed either drunk or high, which was definitely a red flag. Once we made it to the patio area, the atmosphere quickly shifted. Despite the beautiful setup, the patio was noticeably dirty, which took away from the otherwise cool vibe.

On the bright side, the service was solid and the staff inside were attentive. The music was good and definitely set the mood for a fun night. Drinks, however, were pretty hit-or-miss — I'd rate them between a 2 and a 5 depending on what you order.

Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re just looking to have some casual fun, enjoy the music, and hang out with friends — but don’t expect anything beyond that. It has potential, but some details really need attention.

Do not order any kind of food.

I came to Bungalow in Long Beach with my sister and stepped outside for a moment to get another friend. When I tried to go back in, security refused to let me in and wrongly assumed I was drunk completely untrue. I asked for the manager, and instead of helping, one of the security guards walked over to another guy and they both started laughing and talking like it was a joke. Extremely unprofessional.

This used to be one of my favorite spots I was even here during their grand opening and worked in the same plaza. It’s shocking how far downhill the customer service has gone. They didn’t used to have TSA-style body checks either now it feels like a scam or intimidation tactic.

The manager seriously needs to replace these rude employees with professionals who actually listen and treat guests with respect. I will never come back. Bungalow lost a loyal customer today.

I didn’t eat here so I didn’t give any stars for the food, but the drinks were great. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. It’s a very cool spot.

Fantastic first time experience.! Stunning ocean, marina and sunset views.

Very good drinks 🍸. Large area with outside seating and progressive decor.

Get there early, after 8, this place turns into an exclusive, crowded club scene.

I attended a private event here and was so happy because I've always wanted to check this place out. First off, let's talk about the view it faces the water which was nice. The drinks were spectacular, and the pizza was amazing! I honestly couldn't decide which one I liked the best. The staff was great and this place has such a cool vibe. Lots of cool artwork and music.

This was my second time here. First it was for dinner, and today we went for brunch or at least I thought brunch! But we had drinks and shareable food instead. The place is super cute and very spacious. There were 5 of us and we had a nice big table with couches. They had a DJ playing music. It was such a beautiful day accompanied by a really nice view of the water. All the drinks were really good and we also enjoyed our food. Between 12-2, they had a happy hour and the drinks were about 12$ and pretzel bites and a few other things were around 10$. I’ve never been here late at night but from the looks of it, it’s easily a lounge/club at night.

Music was on point. Not sure why they closed the 3rd bar maybe short staffing but place was so crowded and lines were way to long at the other 2.

They close the the place at 1:40pm, still some time to dance and have fun but they stop music and turn on the lights earlier, is frustrating when your having a good time.

Absolutely love the vibe...food and music were spot on. The drinks uumm maybe it's because it was a new bartender but overpriced and okay.

bad vibes. $7 for water, dumb and dangerous.

We celebrated my sister’s birthday here and not only were they extremely strict with everything, they overcharged us. We had 15 people at our table originally, and other friends joined to stop by and say hi for 30 minutes to an hour MAX. They did not partake in the table at all but still overcharged us for the “extra” head count. Everything was extremely strict and we were even told to quiet down because we were being too “loud.” It’s a club??? We are never coming back. Both Bungalows in HB and LB are lame— bunch of stuck up hipsters who make you name 5 albums from your favorite artist.
