Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

Visited here after lunch for something sweet. This spot is located inside 2nd & PCH on the first floor.

Parking: There's a parking structure with free 90 minute parking. There's free street parking, but it's difficult to find. There's also a free parking lot across the street. Finding a spot in the lot can be a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with very few indoor seating. The tables are located in the back of the store. All the ice cream flavors are organized and labeled.

Service: The worker was simply nice and efficient. They allow you to sample any ice cream flavor. The worker that assisted us was knowledgable about the flavors and recommended us her favorites.

Ice Cream: After sampling a few flavors, I decided to go with one scoop of the Vegan Cookies & Cream Caramel Swirl. The caramel flavor was very faint, but the cookies & cream flavor came through. The texture was creamy. It was good enough to satisfy my sweet cravings.

Pricing: Prices are definitely expensive for a cup of ice cream. Considering where it's located, I'm not surprised. It's good for a sweet treat every once in a while.

This is my boy’s favorite ice cream shop. The cookies & cream flavor is really good.

It’s so yummy it makes my mouth cold and it’s so smooth and creamy. It’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had and I highly recommend.

so creamy and tasty! my favorite is the strawberry matcha! they recently made this a consistent flavor and i am so excited to get my strawberry matcha fix here! thank you bella and taylor for being helpful with introducing me to some new seasonal flavors as well 💖🤩🫶🏽

Tried the seasonal strawberry yuzu cheesecake for my first visit here and I really enjoyed the flavor. The yuzu added a nice bright note to the strawberry base, and I liked the graham crust chunks throughout. Would come back to try their creative flavors.

Had the three scoop, I chose the blueberry and sweet corn. It was delicious. You could taste and feel the blueberries very well. Good stuff
