“Been here twice for a takeout, once for garlic noodles and once for the vermicelli. Both were delicious.
The chicken I had with garlic noodles was well-seasoned and not too salty, and wasn't dry. The pork I had with the vermicelli was also well-seasoned. The garlic noodles came with thinly sliced, sauteed beans of some kind and had a nice crispy texture. The vermicelli came with sliced almonds, lettuce, bean sprouts, Thai basil, and cucumber and were fresh.
It's a relatively small shop, so a large party of 6+ should probably do a takeout.“

“This is our go to Pho place, my 10 year old son asks for it weekly. This is a family owned business, we come around 1pm and service is great, food is delicious!! Highly recommend!! We haven’t found another a pho spot like this one ?? we usually get the beef pho, chicken pho and add vegetables. I love the beef pho with zucchini noodles ?!“

“We had lunch here the other day. There is a ton of parking available. You will find Shootz in the back right corner of Rodeo 39. It is a small and comfortable space.

We started with two refreshers to drink. We got a mango green tea lemonade and a strawberry pineapple lemonade. Both were delicious and refreshing.

We got an order of spam brulee musubi. The combinations of flavors was so good. Also, get some kimchi butter to dunk the musubi in.

Next up was a katsu chicken sando. The chicken is basted in kimchi butter. It is topped with mac salad. It is so simple and yet so delicious. I also dunked the sando in kimchi butter.

We also got a shrimp and katsu mix plate. We poured kimchi butter all over it. The shrimp were large and delicious. The katsu was crispy and flavorful. I loved that there was a good portion of rice and mac salad served with it.

Comforting Hawaiian food and great service make this a place I cannot wait to come back to.“

Parking: This is Huntington Beach .. parking can be difficult. We got lucky with a spot right in front of the restaurant. It was metered parking with the first 2 hours being free. I noticed there was also other street metered parking across the way.

Ambiance/Environment: Very warm and welcoming. It’s very spacious with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. Great for large groups.

Service: Shout out to our server Abril! She was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, refilled our waters when needed, and checked on us while eating.

Food & Drinks:

1) Burning Titan - This was recommended to us since this was their “must try” entrees. I had the choice of substituting the meat and noodles, but I decided to leave everything as is. This only came in one size, and I’d consider it a large bowl. They were very generous with the brisket beef and amount of ramen. The soup was definitely spicy and flavorful.

2) Kung Pao Chicken - My partner wanted a rice dish. I tried his dish, and this is definitely better than Panda Express! It wasn’t too spicy though, nor was it salty. There wasn’t as many peanuts as we thought. There was a good amount of chicken to rice ratio.

3) Crispy Wonton - I like their twist on the wontons because not only did it have cream cheese, but it also had avocado! The wonton was crispppyyy with a beautiful brown color. Though, I wish it had more filling of cream cheese and avocado. Don’t forget to dip it in the sweet sauce!

4) Thai Tea with boba - This wasn’t too sweet. The boba was decently chewy. The tea had a weird aftertaste, so I think they could work on this item.

5) Vietnamese Ice Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I ordered a Viet coffee in the evening. You know it’s concentrated when they don’t fill the cup up all the way. This is what I call a Viet coffee!

Pricing: I’d say it’s definitely worth its price. We visited while they were still offering their deals. Can’t deny a bowl of pho starting at $9.99. Especially in this inflation, that’s a steal.“

The portion size is good for two people to share. The meat is tender and fries are flavorful. I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular. We arrived during an afternoon and the location was empty. Plenty of seating options. Decent customer service. This business is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking spots.“

“We had a dinner get together with family about 20 people… the food was great but Alejandra who waited for us was phenomenal. Can you imagine 20 of us, but we never had to ask for another drink, she automatically filled our glasses and she had a smile all the time. She was good in assisting our gluten free family members on what food items was available. We didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served. “Food was yummy and service was very quick. Granted there were two other tables there but the food came in less than 10 minutes.

Portion sizes were also good and we ordered three dishes for 2 people and it was way more than we needed. Overall good for the price and we will be coming back to try more items on their extensive menu.“

“This is a restaurant/lounge. Fri and Sat nights they have DJ playing music. This place is opening late till 2am during the weekend I believe and midnight during weekdays. Love their grilled chicken feet better than the kinda steamed ones. Their ribeye not bad at all also the bone marrows. I was there for both brunch/lunch and dinner. But I was never there when the was DJ. Weekday is easier to find parking than weekends“

“Solid spot for Japanese-Korean food in Whittier. The menu is small but focused which I like. We got the Cheese Katsu meal, Omurice, and Egg Sando. The Katsu was cooked well, not too greasy, very flavorful. The Omurice was my fave, fluffy and the sauce was really good. Another highlight was the Yuzu Panna Cotta we got for dessert. It was citrusy, not too sweet, great texture, we really enjoyed it. Their Matcha Yuzu-ade was refreshing as well. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be coming back to try some things we weren't able to fit in this time around.“

“Stopped in for lunch today after seeing a post on Instagram. It’s nice, clean and right on the corner in the shopping center. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. “We LOVED their fried rice it was so good! Solid amount of chicken in it too. We ordered the chicken garlic noodles as well that was also tasty. The woman who took our order was so sweet she brought out all of our items to us very gingerly and also put a nice big bottle of siracha out. We wished we lived closer so we could come more often!“

“If you’re craving teriyaki chicken and beef, this place is it. First bite, noticed how good the quality of meat is. The prices are so reasonable and good for how good the quality is and how filling it is. I got the beef and chicken plate and I usually eat a lot, but I was so full with a quarter of it still left. Portions are huge, everything hits, and they’ve got BOGO beer and soju all day which doesn't get better than that really. Went with a group and honestly, we barely made a dent in the plates. We got the giant katsu, tteokbokki w/ ramen + cheese, and bulgogi cheese fries. The katsu really is humongous. The tteokbokki was solid but the bulgogi fries was my fave of the night. The place gets busy, but food comes out fast. Overall a good spot to grab a late meal with friends and walk out feeling full.“

“I've been to many Pho restaurants and this one stands out because, they offer unlimited noodles for free!!! They have different types of noodles but the traditional noodles you typically get with Pho, you can ask for an unlimited amount. Just the noodles so no proteins but how cool is that? One portion was good enough for me, but I saw plenty of other customers asking for extra noodles. What a way to stand out. What adds to the appeal is that the food was good. I ordered the Pho Tai with meatballs and the food tasted clean wasn't greasy or heavy. The service was good and brisk as most Asian restaurants are. The prices were reasonable as well and would definitely come back.“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

“I came to this plaza today because I had to take a class over the weekend here and I'm happy I was stumbled upon this pretty sweet Thai spot. The atmosphere was chill and the service was pretty friendly. I got the khao soi chicken and it was quite tasty, tender chicken, thick noodles and crispy noodles, what's not to love. I was almost tempted to order some rice to soak up more of that awesome gravy. If I was in the area I would come back again.“

“The mazemen here is soooo good! I tried Mogu Mogu before this and it’s essentially the same thing but I personally think Mazera is better. The chashu is very good not dry and the portion can feed more than one person, especially if you add the rice at the end. I always end up with leftovers which I eat the next day and it’s still nice the next day.“
