“Lakewood Rocks Sports Bar is a very nice. Great live bands, friendly bartenders, clean, dance floor, nice decore and set up well. It may look small from the outside but step in and you will find it's much larger. Sue the owner is a very friendly person and takes pride in what she does. Myself as a woman feels safe there. Nice friendly clientele. The door manager is a great guy. Step into Lakewood Rocks Sportsbar and enjoy a good time!“

“Great place, with friendly service and a great ambiance, if you like these loud sports bars. We all liked our food - it was "good" (OK would sound as if any of us had been unhappy) - good burgers and fries. Unless I would be asked by someone to join particularly there, I doubt I would go again. It's not a "No" to the restaurant itself, it is a "Yes" to all the other great places on the same street I have not explored yet. So again, if you want to check out games and have a great night out with like-minded, this is highly recommended.“

All the musicians who played outside in the outdoor eating area were there for The International Day of Music . I want to thank Shannon’s On Pine for staging this event with our 501(c) California Charity The Long Beach Blues Society. Great food,excellent beverages, and fun atmosphere. “A good friend recommended that I visit the Wet Dog Tavern for the first time, and I was immediately blown away by the interiors. Everything was clean and modern, and I kept telling my friend about how I liked that the front windows were big and unobstructed by signage. I like being able to see inside of a bar from the patio, otherwise I feel disconnected from what's happening inside. Being able to watch the Karaoke going on inside is a huge plus, and I think it's a smart way to attract foot traffic into a bar too. Everyone inside was so happy too!“

But It was delicious. So we had to try other ones my next favorite was the chicken Bacon ranch, new favorite. Shrimp and calamari was so good. After all that food, we couldn't stop dancing. “I LOVE THIS PLACE - on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. The female bartender that works those nights is an absolute joy. Her drinks are awesome & her personality is even better than her drinks. It's a place I go to when I've had a hard day. Great atmosphere, entertaining. But if you want food, order before you actually are hungry because the food court take their time getting the food to you. That has happened to me everytime I order food thru the bartender.“

“We were visiting in Long Beach from Colorado because we had to dog sit our grandog for 2 weeks. We love coffee and our Broncos. That weekend they were playing the Bills. We stumbled upon Altar Society and watched the second half of the game there. When we walked in wearing our Broncos gear there was another local young couple there wearing theirs. They immediately clapped as we walked in so we sat next to the table next to theirs to have appetizers and a dessert. It was a fun game to watch with other fans. The food was good. The next morning, we walked over there to check out their Coffee since we noticed that they also offer coffee and muffins. What a unique concept. We need an Altar Society near us in Colorado. GO Broncos!“

It would not be my first choice to go watch a game as the TV's were old and the picture quality was pretty bad. If they upgrade the TV's I would upgrade my rating.“
