Great wines!!

Wow! What a memorable meal--everything from the ambience to the impeccable service to the great Lumen wines to the amazing food--was spot on! Pico has a new chef who learned from Thomas Keller, among other noted chef, and he is really something. Chef Cameron Ingle is bringing an A-game to the restaurant. My wine tasting group asked for a dinner for 29 people and Pico knocked it out of the park. We had the succulent mussels as the first course with local-farm grown salad, and blue corn bread made from local corn ground in--house, paired with both the lovely Lumen chardonnay and Lumen pinot. The entree was the melt-in-your-mouth boneless short rib with a crunchy gremolata topping and delicious sauce, served with the best patatas bravas any of had ever had, paired with the Julia's vineyard pinot and grenache. Dessert was persimmons picked that day from Pico's trees and served with house-made creme fraiche, paired with the Lumen pinot gris. It sound simple but it was the perfect finale to an extraordinary meal. Everyone raved about the food, wine and the wonderful setting. Proprietors Will and Kali have found a gem in the chef. Can't wait to get back and try more of his food!

Great wines and so much fun tasting with Victor. Then walk a few steps and have a fabulous dinner at Pico. A huge highlight of our short getaway to Los Alamos!

Great tasting experience! Victor was a great tasting host. Excellent wines. If you’re in Los Alamos, this tasting room and sister restaurant are a must!

We enjoyed the fattoush salad, stuffed dates, and Vietnamese-style Brussels sprouts as appetizers. Then we ordered entrees: Uni tacos, lamb tartare, and a burger with truffle fries. The last item never came, even 25 minutes after the other two entrees were delivered to the table. The table next to us complained that their entrees took a long time, but at least they received what they ordered. The chef came out and told us his "grill man" was backed up.

A great experience while traveling alone through wine country. Los Alamos is a hidden gem. Lumen Wines tasting room and patio, attached to Pico, is heavenly. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu and enjoy more "grapes"!

Like the location, atmosphere, large outdoor patio and service. BUT..... the $48 steak had too much grizzle and fat plus it was undercooked. Solid wine list, although for my taste a bit overpriced. Not a great number of choices in the small town but there are definitely alternatives which serve some solid cuisine. Sorry but for $48 the steak should have been MUCH better.

All I'm going to say is that the best burger that I've ever had in my life. Insane. And the staff that served it was outstanding.

We ordered take-out from Pico and we’re delighted, we’ve been coming to town since 2009 but never tried Pico until now. The food was exceptional, we loved the brussel sprout salad that was combined with Viet flavors, and the roasted chicken. Lots to browse while we waited for our food— wines, unique gifts, kitchen items and books. I’m so glad I discovered this place, will definitely return on our next visit to Los Alamos!

A colleague of mine recommended this place . Because of COVID only outside dining allowed but it's quite artsy fartsy in between the herbs, veggies ,fruit trees and flower beds in the big garden. Service was outstanding. It's not an extensive menu but everything is fresh and made from scratch. The Burrata appetizer was very good. We both had the Halibut, nice presentation, superb taste. Not the cheapest place but well worth it if you want to spoil the taste buds !

A delicious dinner on the patio - quail, hangar steak, a summer pasta dish, Brussels sprouts, everything was wonderful. The servers were wonderful too and recommended a great inexpensive wine (Piccini Memoro from Italy) that we liked so much we picked up 6 bottles in their adjacent wine shop, (even though we were in the middle of wine country and already had bought plenty!) Was a good visit during COVID - everyone was masked up and safe. It will be even better when we can eat inside again, the historic building is just fantastic.

while we'd eaten take-away during the closure, as soon as it re-opened for dining-in we made a reservation, early, but were still amongst the only diners even as we left at a normal dinner hour. A delicious and freshest of lamb tartare for me and a Pico Burger, cooked to perfection for my dining companion. The truffle fries were delicious too. We also tried the very refreshing "Garden Martini" prepared with cucumber vodka and fresh mint.

Stunning food in an upscale/california casual atmosphere. A wonderful wine list as well. Highlights were the uni, Brussels sprouts and panna cotta.

My wife and I and our two kids had an excellent dinner here a few days after Christmas. Highlights were the duck carbonara, elk tartare, and the fish entree. The restaurant is located in an old general store which makes for a very nice, uncrowded setting. They were also welcoming to our two small kids on a 5:30 Friday reservation.
