The food and service were excellent. Love this location, especially when you get a table on the hillside. So much character. Note that only Valet parking is available and was $15 at dinner. Street parking is very limited.
I meet up with friends after work at this restaurant throughout the year and we've always loved the food, atmosphere, and service (for the most part) but this last Wednesday night left us pretty disappointed. We've noticed lately that some of the staff has been giving a "too cool for school" vibe when responding to our requests and when they get busy and stressed. There were 6 of us and we were waiting for 4 more to show up. Our server started off being attentive...
Valet hit another car in their parking garage and destroyed 3 separate sections of the car, and tried to lie about it. Manager basically said not Bacaris problem and didn't even offer to buy us a round of drinks or anything. We are frequent customers and spent a lot of money. Also, dinner food came out after desert, and round of drinks never came to the table. We are a group not one to complain but this was handled so poorly.
