Balance on recipes seemed off. For example my lobster ceviche had so much going on the lobster was completely undectable. My queso fundido with chorizo was mostly sausage with a small toping of cheese. My sea bass was good but one note. Nothing tasted bad. it was all good but flavors were not well portioned. Service and ambiance were very nice
I had a great dinner with friends here recently. The restaurant is inviting, vibrant, and just all around enjoyable. Their menu is a fusion of Japanese and Mexican food. I liked their take on traditional dishes like the bao buns and tacos. Everything we ordered tasted good!
Cute little hipster restaurant. Nice outdoor area with heaters so made sitting outside bearable. The margaritas were strong and flavorful. The guacamole was ok. It needed more flavor. The dishes were too small for the price. A friend had a $20 small salad. I paid $36 for a tiny piece of sea bass with 5 cucumbers and a tiny cup of rice. Im bougie but this place was too hipster and overpriced for me. Not worth the price!
