To start I'm a Kansas City transplant of 40 years and I tend to be hard on bbq places so I don't often review them. I was working in the area and saw this on a google search. The decor is minimal, a few pics of USC sports teams and a tv that usually has an older tv show on. The employees and customers are friendly and helpful. This is the place! We need to bring this place back. First time here and it met expectations. Owner was curtiese and ambience felt like mom and pops bbq spot. I encourage all of Los Angeles to please support this family owned business.

The barbecue & beans was delicious.The corn bread need some work but I popped it in my toaster oven and yum. The meat was so tender. It was falling off the bone. I've been to many barbecue places and the meat has been tough but this one juicy tasty soft. It could use a little touch of paint here and there, but the food is delicious...YOU NEED NO TEETH TO EAT MY MEAT!!! LOL
