My girlfriend and I came here simply to give their birria tacos a try as we were going around to multiple taco places that day and comparing them. It's safe to say these were the best tacos we had that day! We ordered two crunchy Quesatacos with Chivo (Goat meat) and I can easily say these are up there with some of the best birria tacos I've ever had! I consider La Unica one of the grandfathers of the TJ Birria style. They got both beef and goat. I remember waiting an hour in line years back. Its chill now since Birria trend has saturated the foodie scene.Still one of my favs, got the Quesataco, taco dorado, & a Vampiro for the holy trinity. Pro tip, eat it there, or at your car. Tacos get soggy if you driving back for a while.
