I went in here to grab a quick beer. Ended up staying for 3 hours and having a great time. It’s a good spot with a real vibe and staff that clearly have personality. Check it out
Had a great breakfast, loved it all, soooo yummy!!Had the pleasure of meeting Peaches and Michael. Great service from both, loved the whole experience. We will be back soon!!Aloha
Terrible food and even worse service! My friend and I were in LA from out of town for a concert and since it was right next to the venue, we thought the brite spot would be a good place to stop for dinner. The male server we had was extremely rude and condescending the entire time we were there and when the food finally arrived it was so bad we hardly touched our plates and didn’t even consider taking it to go, possibly our fault for ordering anything other then breakfast at a breakfast diner to be fair.despite not eating we still fully paid for our meals to avoid confrontation. Our server was being weirdly aggressive and wouldn’t say why the entire time we were paying, we thought that maybe he felt insulted that we didn’t eat the food? When we came back later looking for a missing phone, he confronted my friend very aggressively about not tipping. Being young, inexperienced, and from out of town we didn’t know that tip wasn’t included and we certainly weren’t told either. The whole experience kinda freaked us out, would not step foot in the place again.DO NOT EAT AT THE BRITE SPOT!!
Food was good! Service was great! Had the Southern breakfast, you won't starve that's for sure!
Came here for a late evening craving. The burger was super large, I barely got my mouth around it. It was very juicy and tasty. The fries were homemade type and terrific. Definitely coming back here in the daylight hours for sure.
If you are going on a date come to this place, it has great lighting and you will look pretty. The food was amazing, I liked the patty melt. The music was also great and had some bangers. Michael, one of the employees was a joy to chat with and he seems like an amazing person all around and made our experience even better.
5 stars? Really? Yup, really!! I travel throughout California: Sacramento San francisco-oakland Fresno San Diego San Bernardino counties and Riverside and Orange County, and I cannot compare this restaurant to any that I have visited and experienced. The owner knows food. I can tell a lot about a restaurant, especially their breakfast, by the quality of their English muffin and the way they toast it and they butter it up. Right from the get-go the food, ample in quantity, tastes to the point of forcing your return again and again. You want American with a little Mexican Cuisine in it? you want a wholesome breakfast? you want to taste your bacon and taste your hash browns as though they were made by a Top Chef? Be there. you will not regret it, and the coffee is splendid. Oh and by the way don't hesitate to order the steak and eggs. The steak is definitely choice, if not prime -- definitely top beef, either Angus or Hereford. You will taste a great steak when you bite into their steak. Yes there are other breakfast and lunch restaurants around town, but you cannot beat this one. you'd have to go to San Francisco to find its match
Terrible experience overall. We got seated fairly quickly but did not get any waiter for almost 20 mins. Once we were able to order, we waited over an hour for our food. At this point, we noticed that all other patrons got their food, but we did not. Casually, we happened to be the only people of color in the restaurant. We left due to the lack of service. Terrible.
What happened to this place? I wish I didn’t have to give it a bad review but after changing hands like 20 times I think bright spot is finally dead. No real vegan options, they gutted the inside and made it all gross and “new”. The staff also are likely treated poorly because they have reaaaally bad service.
Pancakes were not cooked throughly and burger was tasteless, could use a little more flavor or salt. The only thing I liked was the ranch and fries

Good patty melt and fries
Small-town feel with great food and service; I especially appreciate the several vegan options.
I love this place! Casual atmosphere, very local feeling, super queer/queer-friendly staff and regulars. So glad they're open again and can't wait to keep going for brunch!! <3
1 star too much. Been to the new & unproved Brite Spot since their upgrade 5 times. Didn't complain about the caesar salad, their vegetarian chili is to die for, but beyond that... the staff is jack'd on meth, breakfast is okay, can't wrong with eggs and bacon but their potatoes are awful, 2nd visit meal was okay, NOTHING to rave about, 3rd and 4th visit, same, nothing to rave about in fact the meals were adequate. 5th visit for dinner... vegetarian chile and salad... the place was empty at 6PM on a Friday night, waited for the waitress? really? Salad is served with information they didn't have the chili. I walked out without paying. There is NOTHING BRITE ABOUT THIS PLACE!!! The worst managed restaurant ever.
Delicious!! I got the beet salad and it was soo tasty! My daughter got the French Toast, strawberry milkshake and the skillet cookie and she loved it. The skillet cookie is a must have! Our Server Michael was awesome!
