After always driving past the large TAIX sign, I was able to stop by for dinner and give it a try. Ambience is very old school in a good way. Servers were attentive and friendly. The food is also pretty good and the prices were reasonable with good portions. We got the French onion soup and half & half charcuterie board to start. This restaurant has the most beautiful bar in the world. The pot roast dinner is my fave. If you want to taste the most delicious soup ever made, well it is served in a big pot left on your table as the first course of dinner. Best french bread ever.

I'm always excited to try a French restaurant. My favorite soup is French onion soup, so of course I had to try it at Taix. It was perfection! The broth was rich and the onions were tender and wonderfully caramelized. And the melted cheese! So good! I had the creme brulee for dessert (one of my favorite desserts).
