Budonoki is a very special place. Food is innovative and exceptionally delicious. Wide assortment of flavors, ingredients and textures. We tried an assortment of plates and all were delicious. Excellent service. A warm and inviting environment where guests are treated like family.

Great service here. We got agedashi tofu, salad, yellow tail crudo, beef tartare, naem and yakisoba. All were great but tofu and tartare were the most memorable. I’d skip naem if you’re not a fan of spam texture.

Had a very good dinner. All the food was solid, but the Naem crispy rice ans slaw was the standout. Also the chicken meatballs and scallops were excellent.

Our bartender was friendly and helpful.

In comparison to the standouts, the pork jowl was good but not great.

I'd go back to try some more small plates.

Popup guest chef priced at $105 but should have been half the price. Most dishes did not land well. First dish was toro tartare..did not taste much like toro. Hard chewy NY steak, medium rare. Dessert and prawn roll tasted good. Visual plating was good. Waiters were nice.

Everything about Budonoki is perfect. If you love the show "The Bear", come to this restaurant to get an unchaotic version of dining in a Carmy-approved restuarant. Chef Dan has created a fantastic and unique menu, the cocktails (particularly the slushies) are delicious, the servers are delightful and the vibe is immaculate. Do not leave without having the naem, the yakisoba or the sweet potatoes. Top your night off with their coconut soft serve to end on a perfectly sweet note. We love Budonoki and can't wait to come back!

One of the most creative and delicious meals we've ever had. Our server, Stephanie, made our visit the best we could have ever asked for, and don't miss the creative mixology menu and very important their own soft serve. Take it from a former
frozen yogurt store owner - they broke the flavor pallet with uniqueness and deliciousness! We can't wait to come back again!

One of the best restaurants I have been to. Everything about this spot was first-class. From the sake, to the cocktails, to the unbelievable food. Everything we had was phenomenal but the highlights were the Japanese sweet potato w/ miso butter, pork jowl, and the negima.

Since I have truly been telling everyone I’ve seen about this place since I went last weekend, figured I’d also sing its praises on here. This is the best food I’ve eaten in awhile. Every dish I tried was impeccable, with rich flavor profiles and complex textures, overall just incredibly delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Great vibe and people-watching as well!

Def a must visit! The team is SO intentional with how they curated everything (menus, ambiance, music and of course the FOOD). Things I loved: spicy tuna handrolls, scallop crudo, charred japanese sweet potato, Naem, Negima & both the Aburi Salmon/Yellowtail sushi. Everything was so delicious, and I'm excited to come back again very soon ~

We love this place. Great vibe, great service, great drinks and the food is excellent.

The spicy tuna hand rolls and sweet potatoes app are must haves every time. And both the salmon and hamachi sushi dishes are hard to pass on. The specials are always worth a look as tonight's tomato cucumber salads was one of the best we've had.

Try the frozen negroni and don't sleep on the Yuzu Saki Bomb.
