Food is always delish, disappointed in what I ordered tho. For the price, it wasn't worth it. $26 for only 3 shrimp, cup of rice, some tiny scallops & plate full of french fries. Hubs got the 7 seas soup, it was so bomb, so much fresh seafood in it & was less than my plate. Flavor was delish, but not the quality for the price. I will get something better next time. The girls were working so hard. Very busy & only 2 girls. So please tip them well
I haven't been to a 7 Mares since I was a child, so I decided it was time to come back and try it... We were craving Mariscos and all of our favorite places were closed, since it was already 7pm... 7 Mares closes late so we decided to go here.. This location is in Boyle heights, it's not as big as other locations. We came during the week so it was not busy... I ordered the aguachiles, which were pretty good and definitely spicy for me... This is my 2nd time coming with my bf their food is sooo good. Specially the sauce with the chips delicious! First time I went I got the breaded shrimp comes with rice fries and a consome to start. This last time I got shrimp enchiladas. When I say their not stingy with their food I mean it. Most places will probably put 3 shrimps or so in the 1 enchilada, not these! They were stuffed with shrimp everything tasted so good. The sauce for the enchiladas is not spicy at all literally...read full review
