Vegetarian tacos/taco plate are amazing, consistent and the red and green (not avocado) salsa are very delicious. Best taco truck in the neighborhood!

Ordered chicken quesadilla. Got light food poisoning. Would go to other taco stands/trucks.

I ordered tacos yesterday and was really disappointed with the quality of the meat. Instead of clean, well-prepared cuts, it was full of scraps and overly fatty pieces that made it hard to enjoy the meal. The texture was off, and it felt like very little care went into preparing it. For something as simple as tacos, the meat is the main component, so this was a letdown. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to quality and consistency moving forward.

Victor is one of the best people here, they close at two on Fridays and Saturdays but since they were slow, they closed early and so I got to the truck like 20 minutes before they closed but they had packed up because it was a slow that day for them and I was just asking him what time they close and then he was so sweet and nice enough to ask me what I wanted to order and he made my meal even though they had closed already. If I had gone somewhere else, I’m pretty sure they would’ve told me they were closed and that they couldn’t make my food but he went above and beyond to help me and I appreciate that as a customer so please come give them your business because every time I’ve come here, they’re super nice. I’ve gone to other Mexican trucks around the area and the workers are so rude. Also, this food truck has sometimes temporarily moved to Barry Avenue because of the construction on Santa Monica Boulevard so if they’re not on Santa Monica Boulevard that means they’re on Barry Avenue so go look for them :)

if yIf you're craving a late-night snack in Santa Monica, look no further this food truck is parked here until 3 AM. The tacos are truly delicious, and you can enjoy your meal at the tables and chairs set right in front of the truck for a perfect after-hours treat.

Ordered quesadilla and asada burrito. Unfortunately asada burrito is mostly rice and fatty meat, I felt like I was eating scrap meat. Quesadilla is fine but not much flavor. Quite disappointed.

Hands down the best California burrito in west LA. It’s not even close.

This is my go to taco truck!
I always get the Barbacoa quesadilla.
The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. I only live a few blocks away, so I always bring my friends when they’re in town! Can’t recommend this place enough!! Also, the salsa are A++!!

Things I've only seen from this food truck:
Quesillo and Barbacoa
Not everyone carry these things

They also have champurrado and atole for dessert

These are what makes them stand out

Also with what's happening with this country there are less taco trucks out there. So them being out here is very much appreciated 👍🏽

People! I just left a scathing review for Rubens taco truck, 2 blocks away, bad, El Palador here, good. Going down the SAME street to accomplish the goal of feeding people, and it is the exact 💯 opposite of that review. Lovely lady, great tacos, and immediately redeemed the other place. Look, you'd be happy to drive, literally like 40 seconds down Santa Monica, head east and eat here. Mind blown I'm this lucky lol. The fact El Palador has only .2 stars more makes me wonder if people care about the vendors, cooks and people they buy from. Weird. Love you. Happy guy

I ordered asada tacos. The meat was under marinated and had a still under taste. No limes, just a bit of onions thrown in. Wouldn’t order again.
