Good call for lunch. Food was above average for a tourist spot. However, the prices were also high. I felt like I was getting ripped off. We did have any liquor, and glad we didn't. I probably would have choked at liquor prices.
Great experience, good food had the chicken mole enchiladas. Watermelon margaritas. Good service welcoming, and constantly check to ensure i had everything i needed. Great spot for lunch
Had a wonderful experience here! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and tasted like the kind of Mexican food you really hope to find. The customer service was excellent as well, and the staff made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our visit. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, which has a unique and inviting character. El Paseo Inn is a popular restaurant along Olvera Street, located in a beautiful and full of character area that feels like a little escape into Mexican culture. It is one of the coolest older restaurants in LA in such a rad location. The atmosphere is lively but still relaxed, with a great patio perfect for outdoor dining. The service is fast, friendly, and prompt, with beverages and appetizers arriving quickly. The food is delicious and full of flavor. The tacos are bursting with flavor, and the homemade salsa is legit. The burritos are first rate, and the chips and salsa are light, crispy, and fresh. The mole enchiladas are satisfying and generously portioned, with a rich mole sauce that adds depth and flavor. The Sepulveda Enchiladas were decent though unremarkable, and the roja sauce could use more flavor. Grab a margarita too; they really know how to make it. This is a great spot to enjoy good food in a unique setting while exploring LA.
