This is my second local MdR pizza experience, and I may just as well copy what I said about Johnnie's on the sea side of Lincoln, pure American parlor pizza. No wood stacked in back for the ovens, no buffaloes being milked, just a really good standard pizza. I also differentiate this type of pizza from the thinner crust New York style which you eat folded over, typically with much less cheese. Examples outside MdR would be Upper Crust and Prime Pizza. his is my favorite pizza place in West La. As a pizza enthusiast, I take my slices quite seriously. The slices bring back memories of my many trips to the big apple, and the beautiful walks I took upon the canals of Venice, Italy. I feel incredibly blessed to have access to such an excellent pizzeria. The deliveries always go smoothly, the pizza is always still hot and delicious. Overall if you appreciate consistently high quality pizza this is the place for you.
