A great stop for some great Chinese food. I had the Teriyaki Chicken on white rice. Very tasty. Too bad Fried Rice is not an option in place of white or brown rice with your entreé. Fried Rice is a side dish. You order, sit down and your menu selections are brought to your table. Bathrooms are available. Parking is provided in a small courtyard next to the restaurant. The Chinese Chicken Salad is a popular selection! It was very tasty, especially with the sauce.

I have been going there for 30+ years and it is very consistent. The signature chicken salad is tasty, fresh, well-balanced, filling and healthy. Always ask for extra dressing.

A rainy Tuesday is an ideal Feast from the East to go meal day. Ordered a regular sized Chinese Chicken Salad - crispy romaine heaped with shredded chicken, scallions, sliced almonds, sesame seeds, the 'signature Wonton Strips' and original Sesame Dressing. Added the 'NEW Boneless Sesame Chicken' with the Creamy Feast Sauce and a side of Brown Rice. Navigated the wet roads home, salivating all the way, BUT, the dream was not fulfilled. The Signature Salad had a decent amount of chicken, but that was all that was decent about it. There were ZERO ZERO ZERO Wontons; single digit sliced almonds and a smattering of sesame seeds. The romaine, however, was plentiful. The 'NEW Boneless Sesame Chicken' was a little dry, but there was that Creamy Sauce for dipping. Haha. The ubiquitous 'to go' condiment container had about a teaspoon of sauce in it. The small box of plain brown rice was perfect. I called. The fellow on the phone offered me $1.50 refund (apparently, the cost of extra wontons) after telling me I could have ordered extra Wontons++, despite my explaining that if it came with any, I probably wouldn't have needed 'extra'. He went on to explain that they fill the sauce containers "at least halfway" which was, frankly, comical. He remained polite, even after I got frustrated, which I admired. What he wasn't able to do, despite trying to explain, was to understand that my call was about the whole experience of eating that salad as promised. The crunch of almond and wontons is what makes it stand out. AND having a container of sauce that would have allowed maybe half the box of chicken to be dipped into. If he wanted to correct the errors with $, at least offer to deduct the cost of the chicken from the bill that did include a 15% tip. Nope. I didn't take the ludicrous $1.50 either. The whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be going back.

Best Chinese Chicken Salad EVER! I must the nice lady who used to bring the food to your table. She was very sweet and part of the experience. The other employee have always been kinda meh. Not welcoming, but not rude. Just there. Now that it is self check, I guess who cares. The salad and its dressing.... Still the bomb.

I orderd a catered family size Chinese chicken salad that advertises to serves 9 people. It fed 6 ladies a small size salad for lunch. Be aware of this before ordering.

The ingredients are always fresh. The Chinese chicken salad is a go to. The service is fast and the establishment is clean. What more could you ask for?

Read that the Chinese chicken salad was great. It was beyond dry, and no Bueno. No oranges. Not at all what we were expecting

A friend highly recommended this restaurant so I went for lunch today. Location was easy to find & customers parked at 1 hour parking meters along Westwood Blvd. We ordered most popular menu items which were their Chinese Chicken Salad Medium size & 12 pieces of the Sesame Chicken Wings & mini Drumsticks. I ordered also the Orange Chicken as it is one of my favorite dish. The food was prepared pretty fast & we didn't have to wait long. They had many To Go orders & dining in area. My favorite was the Sesame Chicken as it was tender & flavorful. I guess their Sesame salad dressing is quite popular as they have it bottled for purchase. Sugar-Free dressing version are available as well. I would definitely come back again when I am in the Westwood area.

Customer since the mid 80's. That being said reveals we are fans. However, California State Board regulations are clearly not being followed as there was a fine dark, straight 6 +" long piece of hair in a carton of rice. Didn't see it as it was woven in the rice. Took a bite of rice and pulled a long hair out of my mouth. Clearly, this person made/packed the box of rice. Disgusting! And no, I don't have long hair. Not even close to being that long!

Let me just say that I don't really do salads but Feast From the East is one of two places I'll order salads. They have the best Chinese Chicken Salad! Something about that sesame dressing and wonton crisps that make it perfect. They also have wings that are super delicious too. I've purchased the dressing and wonton crisps separately so I can enjoy at home. Honestly getting hungry thinking about their salad. It's located on Westwood and I believe is a mom and pop small business. Go support them -- they're super nice and have been in business for 40 years! I always get my order quickly.

The Chinese Chicken Salad is all I get! Workers are friendly. I’m just mad that they are only open from 11-5 ?Parking: Parking sucks! Either you can park on the street to pay the meter or pay $2 every 20 minutes to be in a small shared parking lot

I've eaten FFTE Chinese chicken salads for 35 years and am sad to say I've crossed them off my list. I bought a salad a couple of months ago and the chicken was so dry it was inedible. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I returned a couple of weeks later. Same thing. I thought I'd try one more time. Shredded chicken tasted like cardboard. $20.99 for the large salad. Moving on.
